Mark was panicking. His parents want to borrow his truck to go pick up a dog, and Y/N hadn't gave him his truck by 11:00. Mark shakily picked up his phone. He hesitated to call the police or tell his parents he let his friend that they didn't know at all borrow the truck they pay for. He was afraid his parents would lecture him (which always made him cry afterwards) and stop paying for his truck and handing him money for doing housework for them.
He put his phone down and ran his hands through his bright blue hair. His phone beeped. He picked it up. His friend Milly had texted him.
'Hey Mark! How are you?'
Mark sighed and typed a reply, ' good. you?' She typed back a minute later. 'Good! I'm just watching a movie.' He layed his head on the table with his phone in front of him. He typed a reply, ' Which one? I probably know it.' He had to wait a while, but he made his decision. he grabbed his phone again and put in the numbers '911' He made the call. Once it was over, he checked the next. "Zombie Hell 5' Mark smiled. 'that's my favorite' He sighed. He didn't want this to happen to his friend, but he didn't have the choice.
Y/N's POV
Why would he do this? This is so unlike him! The next thing we knew, there was knocking on the door. tThe thing is, there is a large gap between trees next to the house, and I parked it there when we got there. The 5 jump over the back of the couch and turn on some cartoons.
I grab the door knob and open the door with a forced smile. "hello! What's up..?" "I'm pretty sure you know "what's up"" The female officer growled, blowing a bubble with some bubble gum. "Now, Alex. may we go get the car? You make this easy, you don't go to prison. deal?" The male officer said. Y/N slowly nodded and began walking to the side of the house.
They saw the car in the gap, neatly parked. "Thank you ma'am. I'm sorry, I am, but you will have to pay for not returning it." The male said sadly, elbowing the female to stop glaring. She looked up and gave a fake sad smile. "How much?" Y/N said, swallowing a lump in her throat.
