Characters/pairing - Light Yagami x L Lawliet (Death Note)
L and Light are handcuffed together for 'investigation reasons' but both have other thoughts on their minds.
I do not own L, Light or Death Note (sadly)
L woke Light early the next morning, so he could make coffee. Light trailed along behind him, at the end of the chain. He leaned against the kitchen counter while L made two mugs of coffee, then took a cake out of a box. He took out his equipment (for icing)
"L, hurry up, I'm tired," Light yawned.
"I was just about to comment on how obedient you are this morning."
"It's seven am, why are you even doing that now?"
"Would you prefer if I did you?" L asked with a wicked grin. (By wicked I mean rapey, obviously)
The answer was yes though Light didn't say so out loud. They sat on the sofa when L was ready and Light hummed quietly as he sipped his coffee.
"You seem happy."
"Of course I'm happy, L. Aren't you?"
L answered by stuffing a slice of cake in his mouth.
"So attractive," Light muttered.
L pointed at the cake and Light shook his head, assuming he was offering him a slice. He continued to point so he looked and saw that L had iced one word on it.
GAY
L swallowed and explained;
"Well, you are what you eat."
"In that case I will have some," Light said as he took a slice. "You know, you are also your name."
"I'm not telling you my real name just because we did stuff."
"I don't mean that. I'm not Kira! How many times do I have to tell you?"
He folded his arms and sulked until L did an over exaggerated pouty face, which he couldn't resist.
"I actually meant my own name."
L placed a finger on his lips as he thought.
"Light, you shine bright?"
"No, try spelling my second name backwards."
L's face was hilarious (but still beautiful) when he realised.
"Light-kun, I have never used this phrase in my whole life, but oh my God."
"It's great, right?" Light beamed.
"Yes. Let's finish this cake, then go back to bed and do more gay stuff."
