The Princess

The rest of the trips was silent as we made our way toward the bunker. It was close to an hour later when we came across ruins of something that made my mouth dropped. White bricks scattered the field, hidden by bushes and vines. Some slopped while other lay in a pile of discarded crumbles. Even with the scene before us looked like a complete wreck, it was beautiful to some whom had seen something like this before. On The Ark the only time you would see something as broken as this would be in book, yet actual books were hard to come by. Yet the books we had were always stuck in an air tight shelf guarded by nothing but a finger print scanner. Those books though compared to nothing of what I saw in front of me now, the scene now was a creep beautiful as I looked around staring widely at everything.

“We should split up and look for a door.” Bellamy’s cool voice floated over to me through the air. “Stay within shouting distance just in case.”

I nodded slightly before walking off in one direction while he walked the other direction. Was he really that mad at me that I didn’t tell him anything about Finn and I? If I were in his position, I think I’d be mad to. I did tell him that he can’t be sure the Finn and I don’t have anything in between us. Maybe I should fix, I mean I don’t want to like Finn. He lied to me or well didn’t tell me about the girlfriend he had in space. I wasn’t going back to something like that, especially when Finn himself was battling on who to choose, me or Raven. Going back to what Bellamy thought about Finn and I, after that kiss with him I want to be with him and not Finn. I want him? The Rebel Leader, My Rebel Leader.

I needed to tell Bellamy! And just as I was about to go tell him what I had discovered for myself, I spotted a metal handle. I dropped to my knees tugging at the handle, handles before me. The door that the handles where connected to wouldn’t budge from there spot making me grunt.

“Bellamy!” I called out. “I think I found something.”

Within seconds later, Bellamy was sliding down a hill and toward me. He then jogged over toward me spotting the door. “Move back.” He said after I tugged again on the handle getting nothing in return. I moved away just in time for him to swing his ax down on the metal making it budge and with another hit we were able to get the doors open. We then stepped into the bunker, I was grabbing a flashlight we had gotten from the drop ship to hand to Bellamy before reaching back into my backpack for my own flashlight.

Wondering though the bunker, I got excited when I found blankets that could help us all survive or at least bare through the winter. “Blankets!”

“We need more than just blankets to get through what we’ve been through already and then some.” Bellamy mumbled to himself angrily before kicking over a barrel but just as he did that his face broke out into a grin. “Now this will help us get through winter, guns.”

“What will guns do for us?” I asked staring down at what the barrel full of liquid held before Bellamy had kicked it over. They were lying in a sizable pile making the smile on his face widen with excitement.

“With these guns, it means our survival. The grounders don’t stand a chance against us when have the upper hand and right now these guns our upper hand.” He grinned. “Ready to be a badass, Clarke.” There it was again the name that wasn’t the nickname he had given me.

The Rebel Leader

I was teaching Clarke how to fire a gun. If I was going to be leaving her at some point within the next few hours then I was gunna need her to be able to fire a gun before she could even be leader. And so we stood there, me telling her how to hold, aim, and fire the gun. A gun was in my own hands, or well the strap to the gun was around my body as I moved to help Clarke with her aim. I placed my hand just under her shoulder blade before moving her aim correctly.

Why was it that this girl affected me so much, just a single touch like this was sending my mind into over drive. I wanted to kiss her again, to run my rough fingers through her blonde hair. I wanted to call her my Princess again yet every time I thought of her as mine, the thought of Finn having her first stopped me. She was Finn, or was Finn with Raven. My eyes fluttered closed as I shook my head looking away from the girl.

“I need some air.” I moved away from her heading to the outside of the bunker but that didn’t clear my head, it only made it worse.

And that’s when the hallucinations started.

Hey everyone,

Thanks for liking this story. I’m so shocked that I’ve gotten so many reads within the couple days that I posted it. And even though it’s not the exact words and things from the TV show but I’m picking my favorite parts of the show. And the whole scene where Bellamy is teaching Clarke to fire a gun….i loved that scene. He so likes her anyway enjoy.
