Autumn Leaves

Breeze on the autumn trees

Knock down the colorful leaves

Into the crisp morning air

Floating down to the cold ground

Decaying and giving back to the humble Earth

Children in the day, they come and play

Scattering the the leaves around

And when it comes time for the snow to fall

Leaves will be covered by a thick white wall

When snow has melted few leaves will remain

Decorating the damp ground

But when spring comes, all will be gone

And buds on the trees will be found
