Calm Lake

181 3 3

Waters so placid, peaceful, and calm

Top like a glass not a ripple be found

Serenity of morning, awing at night

Until there is a boat making a bite

Waters so choppy, bumpy, and rough

Boats go upon them from morning to dusk

Not calm any longer, no serenity in sight

What will we do on this loud summers night

Wait for the days, surely will come

Lake will calm down and be quit again

We will relax upon the nice shore

Wishing and hoping for very many more
