Billy Russo. The man that can have anything he wants. How? Well, you really just need to look at his face to understand why. Women swoon over the dark-haired male and will do anything to please him. It's honestly sickening to watch it from the sidelines because throughout the day I see an average of four to five girls be at his beck and call. They didn't even work at ANVIL, unlike me. Well, if I'm being completely honest, it's my final month working here since I have been given the opportunity to start my own business since I am now in the financial position where I won't end up in debt unless I am essentially unemployed for five months.

Honestly, I can't wait to open up shop since it will be a bar and ever since I was young I always liked the idea of owning a bar for some reason. But, the building has already been bought by yours truly and it is getting renovated as we speak since I've been talking with the builders and the plan has been set in stone basically so now all I have to wait on really is getting through this month and getting customers. But fingers crossed it won't be too hard right?

As I type away at documents that need to be transferred to the database I lose track of time and I end up doing overtime. I only realise the time when my office and my boss' are the only one lit up. I curse under my breath since I was meant to be meeting Karen tonight at Nine o'clock at Josie's. I look at my phone to see that it is in fact quarter past eight. Okay if I don't leave now I'm definitely not going to make it in time.

I gather all my stuff together and just as I am about to leave the building, a voice calls for me to stop in my tracks. I turn to see my boss, Billy Russo and I wait impatiently as he slowly walks towards me. Oh, my God, I swear if he takes any longer I will have to enter him into a competition with a snail. Actually, the snail would win but you know that Billy would put salt as the starting line so it'd literally kill the opponent. A bit like how I would be dead right now because his expression says it all currently. "I just found out that you're leaving at the end of the month. Why didn't you talk to me beforehand?" Billy snarls at me.

"Actually, I did. In fact, you agreed, so please, don't try that with me. Plus I need to run along now so, I will see you tomorrow Mr Russo and we can have a civil conversation," I say back with snark, I then leave the building leaving Billy back in the ANVIL workplace. A small smirk makes its way onto my face that I was brave enough to do that. I guess you change when you realize your potential.

After that encounter with Billy and the night with Karen, Matt and Foggy, I faded into the background and I kept on making awkward eye contact with Billy and I was lucky that it wasn't long until I left because if I had to deal with that any longer, I feel like my head would explode.

The first night at my new bar was something relieving as I served drinks to people that were here to find out if this place would be there new go-to bar. It wasn't until after some groups were filing out of the bar that a recognizable face walked in. Billy Russo. Oh, you have got to be kidding me. He sits at the very end of the bar and I internally groan since I realise that I will have to serve him. I take a deep breath and walk over to him and ask him what he would like. "Just a beer please Y/N," Billy says simply and I grab one from behind me and hand it to him while he exchanges it for money. "This is impressive, I can understand why you quit now Y/N," Billy says breathlessly. I laugh a tiny bit at his comment.

"Thanks, it's always been an aspiration of mine to own a bar," I explain to the dark-eyed male.

"Look. about the other night. I didn't mean to be hostile it's just that I liked you working at ANVIL and I didn't want to see you go," Billy explains with sincerity in his voice. I nod and urge him to carry on quickly. "Basically, I was wondering if you'd like to hang out sometime? Just you and I, maybe next Friday?" Billy proposes towards me.

"Hmm, you have got yourself a deal, Russo. Just no hostility this time," I say with a wink and go off to serve another customer and after turning my back I could quietly hear Billy say "Y/N L/N, you will be the death of me." I smirk to myself at how successful that was and how he was so suave. Damn it Russo, why do you have to be so charming?
