Winter Wonderland - Calfreezy

Okay, no need to be nervous Y/N, you already got a second date and Cal even said that it was perfect. Wouldn't he have asked you on a second date otherwise? I ask myself as I calm myself down from my anxious state before Cal knocks on my door so we can head out for a second date. I take a deep breath and do a once over on myself in the mirror. "You look great Y/N, stop being so bloody nervous, after all, he's just a guy. A guy who you are completely smitten by..." I trail off speaking about myself. I quickly run my hand through my hair then open the door when I hear the knock. As soon as I lock eyes with Cal, I feel my heart flutter slightly and my anxiety f the date instantly washes away. "Hey, Cal! You look great. Do you want to come in whilst I am quickly sorting out the kitchen?" I ask him to which he obliges and I move aside so he can come in. I close the door behind him and we walk into the kitchen where I finish putting away some dishes and cleaning out the bowl in the sink.  When it is done I turn around to find Cal on his phone silent. "You okay there Cal? You haven't said a word yet." I ask Cal slightly concerned. His gaze then tears away from his phone to my eyes then suddenly his facial expression changes from one that was bored and dull to one that was joyous and excited. 

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just had some stuff to sort out real quick. By the way, you look, amazing. Like Jesus. Anyways. Shall we be off?" Cal proposes to me, to which I nod and we head out of the house to the destination that I'm not too sure of. All I know is that Cal is driving and we are going to have a lot of fun apparently? 

It takes around thirty-five minutes in total for us to get to the destination which turns out to be Hyde Park. That's when I realise that we are going to the Winter Wonderland festival. "Okay, now I understand why you were being so secretive about it now. I mean I mentioned it when we were first talking but damn. Cal, I, erm. Thank you, even though this date isn't in full swing it is already at the top of my list." I explain flabbergasted with a grin reaching my eyes. Cal chuckles softly then we head to the festival that is 'Winter Wonderland.'

 Many stalls are stationed all around as my gaze wonders around the place. Lights are flashing and shouts and laughter are all around.

Then, before I know it, a few hours have passed and here I am with Cal on the Ferris wheel after many rides, ice skating and carnival games along with a little bit of alcohol. My head is resting on his shoulder and it's quiet between us. The park is slowly beginning to quieten down yet we are still here. The view as we get closer to the top of the Ferris wheel is filled with lights and skyscrapers. Now, this is what I call London. The view is breathtaking. "Yes, my view is definitely breathtaking," Cal explains then I realise that I said that aloud. I look up to realise he is looking at me. 

"Wow, Cal. That was so bloody smooth I can't even." I laugh sitting up and face him directly. Before either of us can react to slow down, our lips are crashing into one another's and instantly I feel butterflies bursting in my stomach. Slowly yet also reluctantly, we break apart from each other and my lips burn greatly, and I am already missing the contact between the pair of us. My lips then extend into a smile and Cal then pulls me in for another kiss. Then yet again we break apart after what feels like forever. "We should definitely do this more Airey," I state to Cal with a smirk on my face as I lean back into the seat of the Ferris wheel.

"Definitely..." Cal trails off, then the rest was history and it was the best first kiss with somebody I could ever ask for.
