Today is when Tobi is going to be coming to the house of which I grew up. We've been dating for around a year and a half so we thought it'd be time to meet each other's parents. Honestly, I'm extremely nervous for Tobi to meet my parents since I haven't really brought a boyfriend home before so that's probably why I am so on edge.

We're in the driveway of the house waiting for my parents to get here since I don't have a key because I left it at the flat since SOMEONE *my mum* said that they would be home all day. Well, obviously not. Tobi is next to me with one hand on my leg and the other is scrolling his phone whilst it's essentially the same for me, but my hand is on top of his.

We wait for around half an hour so I'm guessing they went food shopping since they only take this long when mum is food shopping which has caused me to mentally curse her on multiple occasions. Just as I was about to call my parents to see where they are, their car rolls down the street which causes me to sigh in relief because I could feel the lump in my throat growing larger by the minute. Tobi looks up from his phone and notices the car parking up so both of us get out of the car simultaneously and greet my parents. "Y/N! So nice to see you again! You must be Tobi right?" My mum asks to which Tobi flashes a smile.

"Yes, that's me Mrs L/N. Also hi Mr L/N, it's a pleasure to meet the pair of you." Tobi greets sincerely which makes my heart flutter because instantly I knew that they already approved of him.

After the greetings, we help carry in the shopping and get settled in I'm up in my old bedroom trying to find a deck of cards since dad came up with the idea to do some drinking games and I remembered having a deck of cards somewhere. I find them in my bedside drawer underneath a pile of paperwork from my A-levels. That's probably why I couldn't find them in all honesty.

I make my way down the stairs to hear Tobi giggling? I raise a brow in confusion and join them in the living room. I find Tobi sat in between my parents and the photo album that they kept for when I used to dance competitively. "Oh my God," I groan out and place the deck of cards on the table before falling back onto the sofa with a sigh.

"Babe, honestly you look amazing and I'm surprised you never told me you danced," Tobi explains and gets up and sits next to me.

I roll my eyes and laugh slightly and rest my head on his shoulder. "I guess I felt like it was something that has happened and I guess I wanted to focus on my present and future rather than get into details of my past if you can understand what I am trying to say?" I speak getting slightly confused about my own words. But Tobi nods getting what I am trying to say. "But I'm guessing now you've seen the pictures, I'm pretty sure after a few drinks Mum will bring out the videos from when I was dancing competitively in Year eleven," I whisper to him and laugh slightly, which causes Tobi to slightly.

After maybe a week or so at my parents, Tobi and I are at his apartment and we are just watching a movie. The ironic thing is, is that it's Step up. "Y/N?" Tobi asks me as my gaze comes away from the tv.

"Yeah, babe?" I ask and shift my head so I'm looking directly at him.

"I kinda just had this idea for a video and I'm wanting to know if you want to try it out," Tobi proposes to which I nod with a smile purely because I enjoy spending time with him. "Okay, so you know how there was the whole thing about 'couples yoga'?" I nod once again. "How about we do couples trying dance moves challenge?" Instantly my face lights up with joy and Tobi's does the same. We carry on watching the movie and Tobi also messages Sarah asking if she can find some couples dance moves for us to do, to which she happily obliges.

Then the rest was history after the video was uploaded titled "Can I have this dance?.....Couples try dancing"
