Child Liberation Part 4

"Rookie!" I called out but no response, I quickly made my way over to the group, gently patting some of the men's shoulders I tried to make my way through, "Excuse me! Sorry," after I made my way through the group I found the man I was looking for. Flat on his back Jacob had a rather excited Rookie jumping about over him and licking him causing him to laugh out and fight her back playfully, "Rookie" this time she heard me as she looked my way and bounded over and sat beside me, "sorry," Jacob stood himself up "Wasn't expecting to see that fluff ball," he joked as he dusted himself off before walking over at patting her on the head softly, "Fancy seeing you again,"

"You lost something," I said as I unlocked my bag and fiddled around before pulling out the needed item and held it out towards him, he took it out of my hand with great excitement and waved it around in triumph "Evie was going to kill me!" he careered as he kissed the metal piece, he then clipped it onto his belt, "My god, youre getting a lot of thanks from me, Were was it?" Rookie barked at his question,

"Well uh... Rookie found it in the shed," Rookie began to jump about, slightly happy that she was the one responsible with reuniting him with his buckle, "It seemed really important to you so I looked for it,"

"Well it was! So, I really needed the help Love," he patted me on the shoulder with a smile,

"I didn't catch your name?"

"(Name) (Last name) ... Mr. Frye,"

"Oh, okay that's too formal, just Jacob please," before we could start chatting we was interrupted by some of the Rooks that wasn't in the crowed, "Boss we need to go,"

"Right, need to go, got some Children to Liberate," he said before smirking at me, he patted Rookie's head again before walking off with the Rooks, "Children? From the factories?" I asked as I quickly followed him out, curious with what he was doing. "Yes! We take them out and stop them from working there," hopping onto the horse and cart he shuffled to the driving side, without any hesitation I hopped onto the other side next to him and made myself comfortable, "I can help," He held a small look of disapproval as his brown eyes stared into mine, "Its not going to be safe..."

"I saved your life, so I'm capable of helping..." I teased while crossing my arms causing him to smirk,

"I guess you could hide the children while me and the Rooks do the dangerous work,"

"Deal?" he held his hand out towards me and my face brightened up into a big grin,

"Deal!" I smacked his hand and he flicked the reins, starting the horses off and the cart began to move. I began to jump on my seat through excitement and adrenalin, making Jacob chuckle. "Excited?"

"Is it obvious?" I said looking at him with a smile making him chuckle again, I looked at the back of the cart and smiled as a group of Rooks had jumped and hang themselves against the side of the cart whilst another horse and cart full of more Rooks followed behind.

We started to move further away from Whitechapel and more into City of London (Not sure if that's right? It's just what I saw on the games map XD). I could see the factory in the distance get closer and soon the regret started to bundle into my stomach, like a twisting knot.

I couldn't really go back now...
