I did a thing! Pre-Broganes, Shiro's Dad, Orphan!Keith, and Abandoned!Keith

The snow was nicely falling on the streets as Shiro and his father walked down the street. Shiro was just getting back from his friends 12th birthday party, and he and his dad were going out for lunch.
"So how was Kaiden's party?" His Dad asked. Shiro looked up at him and smiled.
"It was AWESOME!! The laser tag had such cool lights, and the cake was DELICIOUS!! And-" Shiro paused when he heard a small cry from an alley. He turned his head and looked over.
"Takashi? What's wrong?" His Dad asked.
"I-I thought I heard something..." Shiro said. "Must've been my ima-" Shiro stopped when he heard that same cry again, followed by a harsh cough. Shiro walked into the alley with his dad and slowly made their way to behind a large trash bin. Behind it, there was a small box. Shiro didn't think anything was inside until he saw two small feet sticking out. He crouched down to see a small young boy sitting in the box. He had nothing on except a torn tee shirt and pants, and his raven hair was grown down to his neck in a shaggy mess. He was crying and was curled in on himself.
"Hey, are you okay?" Shiro asked. The boy looked up. His violet eyes were filled with tears. He looked terrified of Shiro and his dad, as if they were about to smack him or something. His teeth were chattering slightly and his lips were bright blue, almost purple. His skin was too pale for Shiro or his dad's liking.
"Hey, Hey, buddy. We won't hurt you." Shiro's Dad said, crouching next to Shiro. "What's your name, little guy?" The kid didn't respond, he just hugged his knees. He looked freezing.
"Shiro, help me pick him up." His Dad said, draping his coat over the shaking young boy. Shiro followed and helped lift the boy into his fathers arms. He passed out in a matter of seconds as Shiro's Dad carried him.
"He's so light... we'll have to give him something to eat when we get back home." Shiro's dad said.
"Speaking of home, how're we gonna tell Mom that we brought a random kid home from the streets?" Shiro asked. Shiro's Dad thought long and hard until they reached the car.
"We'll think of something." He said, winking at Shiro. He eased the boy down in the back seat and asked Shiro to sit in the front so the boy could rest in the backseat. Shiro agreed and hopped into the Shotgun seat. His dad started driving and Shiro looked back to the sleeping boy in the back. His hair fell over his eyes and his breathing was even. He was starting to get some color back thankfully. Shiro sighed.
"Dad, is he gonna be okay?" Shiro asked. His dad only smiled.
"I think so, Shiro. I think he'll be just fine." That's all they could hope for, at least.
