Our sunshine Part 1

I've been Lance have been married for almost a year. We got married on June 10th, the day we went to Space in the blue lion and that started the whole adventure. We've been back on Earth for about three years, and I honestly can say I didn't think that after Voltron I'd ever be where I am today. I'd never think I'd find love, get married, live in a house, or have the friends I have. But yet here we are.
The only thing I don't have yet is a family to call my own.

Well, not yet, at least.

"Keith, hurry up!" Lance yelled from the bottom of the stairs. I threw on my jacket and slid down the railing into his arms. He caught me and swung me around.

"You've got to stop doing that." He said in my ear. I smiled and leaned my head on his shoulder.

"Yeah, but you still catch me every time." I say, placing a kiss on his nose. He rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, cause I don't want my husband to fall and crack his head open on Easter." We laughed and he carried me to the car. We were both giddy that morning. It was Easter Sunday, and Shiro and Matt were having Everyone over to their place. What they didn't know, is that we had a surprise waiting for them.

"You ready?" Lance asked as he took a hold of my hand. I smiled and nod.

"As I'll ever be." He smirked and started driving. Neither of us could contain the excitement we both had. The whole gang, gathered in one spot. The perfect place to tell them.

We got to Shiro's house about an hour ago, and everything was set; we knew what we were gonna say and how we were gonna say it. We knew who was gonna get what and when. It was perfectly set up.
That was, until Allura and Lotor stole our idea.

"Matt, I think I left something in the oven. Could you grab it for me?" Allura asked.

"Sure thing, princess." He said as he dashed to the oven. Allura rolled her eyes and grabbed Lotors hand. The two of them had been married since the month before we returned to earth. Who would've thought after ten thousand year war, the new Galra Emperor and the Late Altean Princess would get hitched?

"You no longer have to call me that, Matt." She smiled. Shiro walked back into the dining room with a bun in his hand.

"Allura, why is this in here?" Matt asked. Pidge looked up and their eyes glistened.

"Shut the fuck up." They muttered. Allura smiled. Shiro still looked confused.

"Shiro, what was in the oven?" Lotor smirked. The wheels in my brain turned until I finally caught on.

"Are you serious Allura?!" I yelled. Lance was wide eyed and Hunk and Shay were giggling to each other. Matt's eyes widened and his jaw dropped.

"Shiro, babe, please tell me you get this." He laughed. Shiro looked dumb founded.

"It was a bun in the o- OH!!"

Yep. He got it.

"No fucking way!" Pidge screamed. Allura smiled and Lotor wrapped a hand around her shoulder.

"We're gonna be parents!" Everyone was screaming at that point. The two were congratulated and practically attacked by hugs. Lance coughed into his hand and signaled me to say something. I smiled and understood.

"Hey, Shiro, I think it's about time we give you your Easter gift." I smiled. Every holiday, our friend group had a tradition of giving each other a gift or two just for the heck of it. But this year we had a special one for Shiro. I gave him the wrapped present and he quickly opened it. Inside there was a small styrofoam box. Shiro eyed it.

"It's not gonna jump out at you, moron." Lance laughed. Shiro glared at him, smirking.

"You never know." He laughed. Shiro used his Galran arm to open the box cautiously, unwrapping the mug from the styrofoam casing. He smiled and nodded.

"I needed a new mug." I laughed and held Lances hand.

"Read what it says, dumbass." Shiro read the mug and his eyes widened. He glanced at us, jaw to the floor.

"Are you serious right now?" I smiled and nodded. Shiro yelled.

"No FUCKING WAY!!! Oh my god!" Same reaction to us as he did Allura and Lotor. Well, he caught on sooner.

"I'm gonna be an uncle!" He shouted. Everyone else caught on and gave us shocked looks.

"We're adopting!" We say in unison. That earned another round of screams from everyone. Lotor and Allura smirked at us.

"You stole our idea!" Allura joked. Lance laughed.

"You stole ours first!" He came back. We all laughed and Pidge asked,

"So, when're the bundles of joy coming?" Lance and I smiled.

"Next month." Pidge screamed,

"THAT SOON?! HOW FUCKING LONG HAVE YOU GUYS BEEN PLANNING THIS?!" We laughed at their insanity. Allura and Lotor smiled.

"May 14th." We were all excited. Now all we had to do was wait until the day to come.
