Deku's heart hammered in his chest as he tossed his backpack aside and sprinted toward Tsuyu, hoping and praying that he would make it in time. The villain's attack seemed to move in slow motion as Deku launched himself in front of Tsuyu, having used One For All as an extra boost to put himself between his classmate and the villain's attack.

"Midoriya?!" Tsuyu exclaimed as a mess of green hair and frightened eyes of the same hue dove in front of her.

Her eyes widened as she witnessed the boy take the hit from the attack, not even knowing what this villain's quirk did or if this would be the last moment Tsuyu saw Deku alive, but there was nothing she could do as it happened.

Todoroki slid in on a path of frost and sent a wall of ice in the villain's direction, blocking the villain from them so that he could rescue his friends.

"Tsuyu, run and get help, I will take care of Midoriya." Todoroki said calmly.

Tsuyu looked hesitant to leave, glancing down at Deku as he lay writhing in pain on the ground; what had that villain's quirk been? Was Deku going to die? She was understandably worried for the person that had most likely just sacrificed their life for her.

"Tsuyu, go now." Todoroki said, kneeling down beside Deku. "We don't have time to waste, help depends on you, now get moving."

Tsuyu nodded and hurriedly left to find help, her stomach clenching in worry for her classmates.

"T-Todoroki..." Deku groaned, green eyes fluttering with the struggle to stay open.

"Midoriya, I need you to stay awake, alright?" Todoroki said softly. "Talk to me for as long as you can. You likely have internal damage, and I can't risk you moving right now."

Deku could barely register what was being said, Todoroki's voice sounding like a faint muffle; he strained to understand the words, trying to read Todoroki's lips as best he could, but it seemed that his vision was starting to get fuzzy at the edges and his stomach felt heavy with nausea. It took him a long moment to notice that he had been picked up and was now being carried, his body limp in Todoroki's arms despite his every muscle trying to respond to the signals his brain was giving.

Todoroki hurried toward UA, worriedly glancing down at Deku every so often as he ran with the boy in his arms; he had to get him to Recovery Girl.

"Midoriya, we're almost-" Todoroki stopped short as he glanced down at the boy in his arms once again.

Deku's clothing had been torn on one side from the attack and had slipped down his left shoulder, but what had caught Todoroki's attention was the fact that there was a clearly female breast peeking out from the torn fabric. Todoroki's cheeks flared up a bright red and he averted his eyes, grasping the edge of Deku's torn clothing with his fingertips to tug it over the exposed flesh as he continued toward UA, thoughts coursing through his mind.

'Is Midoriya secretly a girl? No, that can't be right, I've seen him in the boy's bathroom plenty of times- the changing rooms too! Did that villain......do this to Midoriya?'

Todoroki rushed through the front entrance of UA just as All Might and Mr. Aizawa came running out toward him; Aizawa kept going as All Might stopped, noticing Deku in Todoroki's arms. The number one hero clearly seemed to falter at the sight, brows knitted in worry.

"Todoroki, what has happened to young Midoriya?" he asked, attempting to regain his fearless composure.

"A villain attacked on our way to school, sir." Todoroki explained. "Midoriya protected a classmate from getting hurt and ended up getting injured instead. I don't think the damage is life threatening, he just had the wind knocked out of him and fainted."
