The next two days passed slowly, Deku getting visits from friends here and there, mostly Kaminari and the girls. Sato had made him some homemade chocolates, Iida brought copies of class notes for him, Mina gave him a massage, Todoroki came over a couple of times to cuddle him and act as a human heating pad for his cramps, and several others of his class did what they could to help him feel better while he waited out his change. Deku wasn't sure if everyone had gathered together and decided to do nice things for him or if they all just wanted to be sympathetic in their own way; regardless of cause, he was thankful to all of them. For now, Uraraka and Yaoyorozu were visiting, and they made it their mission to pamper him like a princess.

"There we go, face mask has been applied!" Uraraka said, smiling brightly as she looked over her handiwork.

"I've never used one of these before, how long do I leave it on?" Deku asked.

"This one is a peel off mask, so you just have to wait until it dries." Yaoyorozu explained, pinning back a section of Deku's hair so it would stay out of his face. "It'll start feeling tight as it dries so be careful that you don't touch it until it's done drying."

"Right now it just feels cool and tingly." Deku mumbled.

"That means it's working." Uraraka said, throwing the empty face mask package into the trash bin by Deku's desk. "Unless it's itchy?"

"No, not itchy, just tingly." Deku assured. "It feels kind of nice..."

"Just wait until you take the mask off, your face is going to feel really soft." Yaoyorozu pointed out.

"Do you think all of this stuff is going to stay after I turn back?" Deku asked.

Uraraka sat beside the freckled boy and patted his shoulder with a reassuring smile.

"Don't worry, even if it doesn't stay, you'll still look good." She said softly.

"You know...if it weren't for this period, I don't think I'd mind being a girl." Deku mumbled.

"We know it sucks but at least it's almost over, right?" Yaoyorozu asked.

"Yeah....I just feel bad." Deku sighed.

"Why's that?" She asked.

"Because I get an escape from it, you don't." He replied.

Yaoyorozu shook her head and smiled.

"You're such a kind person for thinking about us but I can promise you we'll be okay." She said quietly. "We've been dealing with these things for a long time, we know how to get through it in one piece."

"I-if you ever need anything when you're on your monthly, let me know- I'll get you anything you need!" Deku said, looking between both girls. "Really, I don't mind! I want to help you out as much as you've helped me!"

"Deku, that's really sweet of you but we usually get what we need ahead of time." Uraraka said.

"My offer still stands, even if you just want some company." Deku protested.

"Okay, okay." Yaoyorozu giggled, pulling Deku into a hug. "We get it, you're a big sweetie and you just want to help everyone. Take it easy for now though, okay? You can't help anyone if you don't take care of yourself first."

Deku returned the hug, being careful not to get any of his face mask on her; when it came to the girls, Yaoyorozu always gave the best hugs and he couldn't resist every time she offered one.

"I won't lie, I'm going to miss seeing you like this." Yaoyorozu said, letting go of Deku. "You're such a cute girl, it's like you're the little sister I never had. I'm sorry if this sounds weird, but can I still dress you up after you turn back? I can't help wanting to see you in cute clothes..."
