After collecting all my thoughts I decided to go with Jay for spring break. I don't wanna go home and I wouldn't know who I'd spend my time with if I stayed. So why not?
We're currently in his car singing and dancing to some music that's playing on the radio

Put your arms around me. You got me going crazy. You turn me on, turn me on, yeah" Jayden sings along to Chris Brown's 'questions' and I must say the guy can sing, damn
"Girl, I got a question for ya
Can I get an answer?" He continues and looks at me singing the last phrase, giving me a playful smirk
I didn't get that he wanted me to sing the next part until he turns the music down a little
"Too chicken to sing?" Jay teases
'What? No' I scoff trying to hide the fact that I was too focussed on him to catch the hint that he wanted me to sing
"Sure" Jayden chuckles and looks back at the road
Him not watching me gives me some time to really look at him. I knew from day one that this was the most handsome man I've ever laid my eyes on but the way his face looks now is just unbelievable. The sunlight giving his caramel skin a beautiful glow, his fingers tapping along to the rhythm of the music while he hums along with Chris Brown who's still singing and the way the lighting is hitting his eyes makes them much lighter and reflect sunlight
"I know you're checking me out" Jayden smirks and for the first time I notice he has a dimple in his right cheek
'Am not, I was just thinking' I reply, good save Alex, I think to myself
"About what?" Jay asks and turns the music down even more
'Your friends don't mind me coming?' I ask for the billionth time since we've entered his car
"No" Jay laughs "How many times do I have to tell you?" He glances at me and gives me a reassuring smile
'Just wondering' I smile back
What he doesn't know is that I'm not asking to know if they mind, I'm asking cause I mind. As you might know I'm not too keen on meeting new people and when Jay told me his plans for spring break I had already told him I'd go, so it was too late to back out
"Oh I forgot to tell you, I'm gonna visit my mom first. Then we'll go to Bryson's place" Jay informs me
Great, parents, wait fuck. I'm meeting his mom..
'Won't your mom think it's weird that you're bringing a girl back home?' I ask
"Nah, it's not like you're my girlfriend." Jay shrugs
It's true, but part of me feels disappointed for him stating a fact.
What the hell Alex, cut it out with this crap. First he got you flustered in your room, now you're constantly checking him out. What happened to 'just friends'
I groan at my own thoughts
"Awe, is Lexi sad to hear that?" Jay teases
