After the shower I shared with Ryan, we all hung out and drank some more. Jayden was still no where to be found and he hasn't replied to my texts or calls. I was starting to get worried about him. After a few hours I went into my claimed room and got my pack of smokes out of my suitcase

Currently sitting on Bryson's small balcony I take in the view. The sky's a beautiful shade of pink mixed with blue as the night dawns to fall, the birds chirping has died down to a bare minimum. A faint sound of them here and there. It's moment like these that I sit and think about life, my life. What it would've been like if my mom was still around. Would I have been happier? Healthier probably

I chuckle to myself but it sounds sad, sucking on my cigarette, I close my eyes and let the smoke circulate around my windpipe before blowing it out. My mom was always against me smoking, she must be proud

Looking down at the street I notice Jayden walking up to the building. Where did he go and why was he gone for so long? I look at the time on my phone, he left hours ago

Mentally making a reminder in my head to ask him later I put my phone back on the small table in front of me and finish my cigarette, pulling my feet up on the couch. After I'm done I put the cig out into the ashtray

The sky has quickly turned dark and the air colder, goosebumps cover my entire body as a cold breeze hits my skin. That was my daily dose of fresh air I think to myself and intend to get up but stop myself as Jay comes out onto the balcony

'Hey where've you been?' I ask, leaning back into the small but comfy couch. Whoever thought of putting inside furniture on a balcony is a fucking legend

"Just went for a walk" Jay shrugs and grabs my pack of smokes off the table, getting one out along with my lighter before sitting down next to me. The couch being a little too small, our bodies touch and his leg against mine warms me up a little

'Why, what's wrong?' I know Jayden's a sports freak and he works out a lot but just going on a walk for no reason is nothing like him

"Nothing" he answers and puts the cigarette between his lips, lighting it

'You sure?' I push a little, wanting to know what's bothering him

"Positive" Jay gives me a small smile, like him I can tell when he's fake smiling too, but I decide it's best if I just let it be

'You figure out where you're gonna sleep?'

"That's what I wanted to ask you earlier"

Him mentioning when he walked in on me takes me back to the moment we've had and stirs a feeling inside of me. I shift on the couch

'About earlier-' I start

"What about it?" Jayden cuts me off, slightly annoyed

Maybe I read him wrong and I was just imagining the moment we shared

'Well, I just thought-'

"Thought what?" He cuts me off again, blowing out the smoke

'I thought-' I try again

"What, that I was into you? That I wanted to rip your bra and thong off, that I wanted to fuck you?!" Jayden looks at me, a hard look on his face.

His usual glowing green eyes now almost black in the night sky. He takes me by surprise with the words that come out of his mouth and I stay silent not knowing how to respond.

The thought of him doing all of that to me makes me hot, the cold air not bothering me anymore

"Not every guy you meet wants to have sex with you" he gets up, throws the cigarette off the balcony and goes back inside, leaving me baffled at what just happened
