Hands Off My Girl (HaliXOC) [Completed]

Chapter 1

The fresh smell of pancakes flew into the air and reached into the noses of the Elementals Brothers. They instantly woke up and took a shower, put on their clothes and went downstairs.

"It smells delicious, Gempa!"

TauTau, ran down followed by his others brother except for Hali. Gempa knew his brother wasn't always been hyped to have fun during the weekends after the trauma he's gone through. 'I wonder if was another nighmare,' he thought. So he went upstairs to wake him up. As he knocked on the door, he heard his brother crying and trying to let it all out. He wanted to help, but he remembered the incident two years ago. Blaze and Ice were already downstairs and so are TauTau, Thorn and Solar, waiting for Hali to come join them for breakfast. Gempa tried to talk it out with him, but he was stubborn enough not to.

"Eh? Where's Hali?" Thorn asked eagerly. TauTau felt weird that Hali didn't join them for breakfast and it was the first time as well. Gempa insists that he needs his time alone first, so they decided to have breakfast without Hali.

In the room

Hali sat on the bed after a huge jumpscare from his nightmares. He felt gulity, really, really guilty. On his arms were scars that he made to give himself a lesson of what he did. A photo stood on his lamp table, the only memory he had left. The impact of his past really got to him a lot. He wanted to forget everything, from the time he endangered his family to the time he endangered someone really special to him. A knock at his door surprised him and immediately opened the door to see his younger brother, TauTau at the door. He wanted to close the door, but TauTau was fast. He gave Hali a letter to reregister to school from the headmistress of Pulau Rintis Secondary School. "Read it up. The headmistress wants you to reregister to school. I think it's a good move to start moving on by starting going to school again," he sternly said. Hali read the letter, and nodded. He agreed to TauTau that he could move on easily if he gets himself busy with his studies.

(Monday, March 13th 2017)

Hali's arrival at school is pretty familiar and he didn't have to have a big invitation by the school. After registering his name to the headmistress of the school, he went straight to class. On his way there, he passed through a line of Form 3 classes, which one of the top classes was next to his class. He noticed a girl getting bullied by a group of girls from the nearest class to his.

"A spoilt brat like you don't deserve to be a student here," one of them said. The girl was still standing strong and wanted to fight back, but she was outnumbered. One of the girls slapped her face hard and Hali tried to pretend nothing happened but he couldn't let the girl getting hurt. He snuck up to them from behind and quickly held the bully's hand before she could slap the girl again. The group of bullies were surprised seeing Hali in their class. Hali let go of the bully and went to help the girl she slapped earlier. Her face seems really familiar but he was glad he could help her out. He brought her to wash off her tears at the washroom and waited till she's calmed down. As soon as the girl came out, he held her hand and brought her to class immediately. Some other girls from the other classes were screaming in joy to see him bringing her to class as if they were a couple. Before Hali left her class, she hugged him and said thanks for helping. Hali was shocked but he lightly patted her back to comfort her. She let go of Hali and ran into her class. Thorn was standing from afar after seeing what happened. 'It looks like they've met,' he thought to himself. After Solar went to his class with Blaze, Ice and TauTau to their classes upstairs, he ran to his and met up with the girl.

"Good morning, Galaxia~ I saw what happened earlier. Are u okay?" he greeted. The girl known as Galaxia is Thorn's study partner in their class. She nodded and asked about the 17 year-old who helped her earlier. Thorn was eager to tell but he decided to let her guess it herself. They tried dozens of names but none of them matched. Then, she thought back and remembered his student card. As soon as she was about to say his name, the bell rang. Students ran into their classrooms and waited for their teacher to come. Thorn felt like he had to get them together again. So he invited her over to study at his place this evening.

Meanwhile, Hali was reintroduce into a different classroom from his previous class. Many girls' eyes were sparkling from his appearance to the moment he spoke and introduced himself to the class. The teacher excused him to sit, but while he was about to, a lot of girls wanted to offer empty seats beside them but he chose to sit next to another boy who was spacing out. He didn't have any intentions to sit next to him as long as they are okay with each other. After the lessons, recess started. The Elemental brothers decided to meet up at their regualr spot to have their break. As usual, Thorn always gets out of class later than his brothers. A few minutes passed and they saw him runinng with his friend. When they saw it properly it was Laxy. Hali recognized her face and just knew that she was Thorn's classmate. She was trying to catch her breath but she was really tired. She fell on her knees right before she could reach the others. Hali got worried and came up to them. He crouched and asked her in a soft voice.

"Are you okay?" Hali asked. He pulled back her hair to help her feel a bit more comfortable.  She nodded and was back on her feet again. She walked to the table and Thorn "purposely" sat next to TauTau so that Galaxia could sit next to Hali. She didn't mind to sit wherever so she sat next to him. Galaxia searched in her pocket and took out her phone. As she put on the songs through her earphones, she peacefully ate up and began to take out a book for her to write notes of music and lyrics too. Thorn explained that she took music workshops every weekend and had some homework to get done and during the school days, their school would hold a competition for the students to compete with various talents.

"There you are. I was looking for you, Galaxy," a familiar voice surprised the brothers including Galaxia herself. She looked up and a smile was drawn on her face.

Ok, ok.. New year, new book, new resolutions (hope so). I still can't move on with that ship that my friends gave and this is what came up to my head. I never wanted to write a romance type of story but yeah, this maybe the first try.
