A Hamilton Runaway

Christmas Day

I shot up to my alarm, which is a gun shot and then a blood crueling scream. It's from my least favorite movie "The Teminater."
  "I'm going to kill Lin or Oak." I said to myself. I don't have any idea why said it out loud. Maybe I'm going crazy.
I shrug and get myself  a cup of coffee and lay down on my couch. I open up Twitter only to be bombarded with follows and tweets asking how the cast know me. I decided to play along.
"Had so much fun last night with the cast. Gotta do it again soon, but in PJs." I tweeted that and all of a sudden I am boomed by questions. I laugh and go onto Snapchat.
I open all the cast snaps to me. They are telling me to go down to the stage. I then get a FaceTime call from Leslie.
"Yo Les, what's up?"
"Nothing. Just wondering if you went down stairs yet."
"Nope. I was going to go now. Por que?"
"You speak Spanish cool. Anyway I'm pulling up now as I speak. So wait for me in your room please or at the stage door. You chose."
"Stage door. See you in like 2 seconds." I wave and end the call. I run down stairs and open the stage door. I see Leslie jogging over towards the door. I laugh and hold the door as he turns and comes in put of breath.
"I thought you where in shape, but clearly not." I say laughing still. He rolls his eyes at me but gives me a hug. I hug him back and we stay like that for a few minutes. I felt a lot more comfortable with Leslie then anyone else. Why you ask. I have no idea.
"Come on let's go to the stage. I am recording this because I wanna remember your reaction. Come on." He pulls me to the stage where my jaw dropped. There was a fake Christmas tree and under the tree there where gifts. I turn to Leslie and saw him laughing with his phone recording me.
"Holy crap. I -what-but- thank you!! I don't know what to say. Thank you so much. Really. Thanks." He then ended the video and I tackled him with a hug. He cought me and chuckled and pushed me towards the gifts. I giggled and walked towards them. I sat in the middle with Leslie right next to me. I sighed and started to open gifts.
I open up the first thing I grab. I look at the wrapping paper to see who it's  from.
"To: Bestie
From: Crazy Old Man Miranda and Vanessa.
P.S. I told V to put her nickname. She didn't listen."
I smile lightly and show Leslie. He snorted and shook his head. I then carefully opened it to see tissues. I pull our the tissues to see and Alex and Ani box. I carefully open the box and my jaw dropped. It was a bracelet with charms. It had a star, wings,a heart, and a train. I laughed at the train and showed Leslie. He smiled at the train.
"Seb must have picked that out. He loves trains." He said still smiling. I put it on and went to my next gift.

I open it to see a picture of the 4 of us when we went shopping for the first time. The frame had everyones name on it. I smiled and showed Leslie. He nodded his head.
"To: Pipsquek

I shook my head smiling and pulled out a cute dress with a card attached to it.
"Pipsquek, I know we are not your real family but we are pretty close to it. I hope. So I got you the dress because on January 25th we are going to see Waitress. I am taking you because I heard you humming it during practice and I also wanted to get to know you. Love ya." I giggled and spun around on my butt.
"I see you opened Daveeds gift. Have fun and enjoy it." I giggled again and reached for Renees.

I pulled out the tissues to see a wrapped up poster with a note on it.
"So lil one where to begin. I guess from the start. When you first additioned you where dressed in a holey shirt and ripped jeans. I knew you had come through hell and back but did nothing. I know that was mean but you'll see why. The second time you came back I had fought so hard for you to get that part. I mean everyone wanted you to get the part. I think only one person was against you. Just to let you know we fired him. Anyway, you got it and ended up in the hospital because we did nothing. I was worried sick. You g okjt out and pranked us and I knew you where going to fit right in. And you do. So enjoy the poster. I almost broke someone's arm for this. Love you."
I smiled and games Leslie the note. I dried a few years before opening the poster.
"No way she got this. No. I'm going crazy. Hell naw. Holy shit. She fuckimg did. How did. What. I'm going to fucking cry." I said looking at the poster in disbelief. It was a Wizard Of Oz poster but it had the original cast signatures. I felt a few tears come out. Leslie hugged me from the back.
"She was super excited when she saw that. She wanted to give it to you right away but them thought about how close Christmas was. She really hoped you liked it. And your crying so you must like it." I nodded my head and leaned into his side.
He nudged me to keep on going. There was a few more left so I continued on.

I giggled and opened the big envelope. I shrieked as I pulled out not 1 not 2 but 3 gift cards for hot topic. I pulled out 3 more gift cards for Starbucks. I laughed as I pulled out a aux cord that was blue.
"I know you like to make mixes but I could not find any shirts, posters, cds, anything that was related to Djing so I hope you like the gift cards. Have fun, go crazy, I don't care. Love you a lot more then you know." I smiled at the last part. They all did. I put the gist cards in my pile of things I opened already.

I opened the bag to see a case of different colors hair dyes. I smiled and looked at the name of everything.
'Purple Rain, Everglades Green, Ice Blue, Winter white' and so on and so fourth. I knew which one I Was going to use later on.
"To: Lil Sis
From: Anthony and Jazzy
P.S. sorry that we shared but really you can tell who picked what out."
I laughed at the note and leaned int okk Leslie to show him. He looked and laughed out loud. I giggled and opened it.
The first thing I saw was a forever 21 gift card. The next thing was one of Anthony's pull overs I steal all the time since mine are all in my room upstairs. I smile and dig deeper. I then see another picture. This time it's me and the boys. The boys around me with silly hats on while I have a boa around my neck with heart glasses. I giggled and saw that the frame was full of little qouts from the movie Wizard Of Oz. I smiled at that. They knew I was crazy in love with it.
"To: Cookie
From: Cookie Monster aka Thayne"
I smiled to myself at his nickname. Cookie Monster. Who puts those two words together? Thayne that's who. I opened it to see a coffee mug with a blue guy on it. I was confused. Who is this on the cup? I had no idea.
"Hey Leslie, I know you know who this is. I have not a clue. Can you tell me who it is?" He nodded his head and took the cup.
"How do you not know who cookie monster is? That's what we call Thayne. He is also a super famous Kid show puppet on Sesame Street. I can't believe you dont know who cookie monster is." He said in shock. I shrug my shoulders and remind him.
"Never had a childhood remember?"
He said sorry and I just sighed and put my head on his shoulder. I finally finished. I hugged Leslie and buried my head in his neck. He seemed stoked at first but then quickly wrapped me in a hug.
"Did you know that this is the first Christmas I ever got gifts in since I was 5. I always thought that I would never get gifts again but now I have the best family in the world. And no one can take that away. I love you all a lot. Thank you." I felt the tears riding but pushed them down.
"We should be the ones thanking you. You brought us closer together then I could ever imagine. You know that if people want to take you away we will get ever single lawer in town to fight on our side. Even if we have to bring fans into the mess we will. We all love you to much." I felt the tears rise again and pushed them down again. We stayed like that for Awhile.
   After awhile Leslie pulled away.
"Now it's my turn to give you my gift. I hope you like it." He handed me a little box with the Hamilton Star on top. I looked at it and traced it with my finger. I slowly open the box to see the most beautiful necklace in the world. It spelled out Snowflake with little charms around the it. There was a snowflake, along with a star, a butterfly, a firefly, and a little blue jay.
"If you don't like it we can always get you another one."
"No No No No. This is the most prettiest thing I have ever seen. Where did you find such a thing. It's super pretty. Help me put it on please." I took the necklace out and turned around. He put it on my neck and faced me towards him.
"It looks ten times better now. Before it looked good. Now it looks perfect."
He said hugging me. I hugged back.
"Pick up your telephone before you miss it." My phone rang out. I sighed and pulled away from the hug.
"Hello."
"MERRY CHRSITMAS!" I jumped and pulled the phone away from my ear. Anthony and Jazzy yelled in my ear making me half way deaf. Leslie hears it and he was across the stage. He walked over to me and I out my phone on speaker.
"Just so you know I almost went deaf. And merry Christmas too."
"Sorry. Anyway did you go down stairs yet?" Jazzy asked.
"Yeah. Thanks so much for the picture and the pull over. We are using that gift card when we go Shopping again." I heard Anthony laughing in the back round. He then spoke into the phone.
"Are you by yourself or somewhere with you?"
"Im with Leslie."
"Sup. I'm taking pictures of the stage." I laughed at him as he went down and picked up a piece of teach and put it somewhere else.
"That's right I forgot you where going. You guys wanna come over? the rest are coming over in like 5 minutes." I looked at Leslie and he nodded.
"Yeah we will be over in 10. Need anything?"
"Nope. See you soon. Love ya."
"Love ya too bye." I hung up, got up and walked over to Leslie.
"Can you make me coffee while I pick up?"
"Sure. Oh and put on Anthony's sweat shirt, it's freezing out." I nodded my head and started to pick.
5 minutes later I heard to my room to get dressed. I pull on my waitress shirt along with jeans and my uggs. I grab Anthony's jacket which I'm guessing is now mine. I also grab one of my bags that has everyones gifts. They wjere all small. I hoped they liked it.
I walk into the kitchen to see Leslie finishing up with the coffee. He hands me a to go cup.
"Alrighty then. You have everything right?" He asked me looking me up and down. I nod my head and walk out the door. He catches up to me and opens the door. I nod my head and walk out into the frostbite air.
