Alexia pov
I stand there frozen scared to move he stares at me then smirks at me.
" hello princess" he says with a smile what in the Hell does he want. Why is he smiling? Why can't he leave me the Fuck alone? I didn't realize that I had moved in front of my sister in a protective way.
" you always were a protective one" he says
" now where's my goody goody brother?" He asks with an amused look
" why in the Hell do you want to know?" I ask glaring at him
" tsk tsk don't you know better than to talk back to me? I guess you'll have to be taught again." He says with a wicked smile. In the blink of an eye his hands were wrapped around my neck. He starts to lift me off the floor to where my toes barley touched the ground. My hands clawed at his trying to get him to release me. He smirked at me then slammed me into a wall. Black dots start to grace my vision, and it's getting really hard to breathe. I hear an ear piercing scream then everything goes black.
Ezra's pov
I hear a loud scream come from the kitchen so I quickly rush down there. I find Elizabeth pushing herself against the wall. Along with an unconscious Alexia on the floor with a man standing in front of her with a sadistic smirk.
" I guess you learned your lesson my princess." He says before looking up at me
" oh you must be the poor soul who ended up with my princess you will die for taking her away from me." He says I smirk at that this petty vampire thinks he can take me lets see how long he tries. Just as he was going to pounce on me Alex walks in he glares at his brother before pouncing on him. Alex hits him till he's unable to move I end up having to pull him off. Two of the palace guards take him away Alex rushes over to Elizabeth. I look around for my angel and see her laying on the ground. Her chest barely moving up and down bruises were forming on her neck and she was extremely pale. I slowly walk over to her and kneel down. I pick up her limp body and start to carry her to the infirmary her breathing is so slow. I begin to get worried I just want her too open her pretty eyes and tell me she's alright. God why did he half too hurt her I want to kill him. I open the door and two small eighteen year olds walk forward.
" who in the Hell are you" I growl out not allowing them to touch her.
" I'm Sophia Kyra's apprentice" the girl on the left says I just now realized that the other one wasn't there anymore.
" put her on bed three please Kyra will be with you shortly" she says before walking away. Around five minutes later a red haired woman that looks to be twenty, but in reality she's about three hundred years old. She hurry's over to us and starts to examine her.
" sir I'm sorry but I'm going to need you to leave" she says politely I nod focusing on keeping my cool. I leave the room and begin to pace. I turn around and see Emily walking towards me her eyes are red and puffy from crying and there are tear stains down her cheeks.
" do you know if she'll be alright?" she asks timidly I shake my head no
" there examining her now we should know in a little bit." I say looking over at her
" do you know where Alex is?" She asks a small tear escapes her eyes
" yes he's down in the dungeon but should be coming up shortly." I reply wondering why she wants to know
" are you and the baby okay?" I ask feeling worried
" yeah we're fine I just think I'm feeling a little guilty" she says
" and why is that?" I ask raising my eyebrow
" because I just stood there like I was frozen in time not being able to do anything and letting my sister take charge of the situation" she says shaking her head
" I'm older I should have been the one protecting her not the other way around" she says tears flowing down her cheeks
" if we're playing the blame game I should have been listening for problems and making sure you two were okay." I say she looks up at me with wide eyes when I see the devil herself walking down the hallway. Alexia's little sister marches over to me.
" is my sister okay I heard there was a fight" she sneers looking at me in the eye
" you best watch your tongue little girl before I remove it from your mouth." I hear a hiss and look up to see her fiancé hissing at me, and my temper flares.
" save it I'm not in the mood to fight" right after I say this Kyra comes rushing out. I look over to her and she starts fidgeting.
" I'm sorry Lord Crown we did all we could, but I'm afraid she ended up in a coma. We don't know if or when she'll wake up for now all we can do is make her comfortable and hope Lady Crown wakes up." The news hits my like a pile of bricks leaving me speechless and stuck in place. How could I have let this happen?
