Ezra pov I stare not being able to move my eyes away from her pale green gold eyes. " how- how long have I been he-here" she stuttered out looking panicked. " you've been in a coma for four months" I say not being able to tell her a lie. She put her head in her hands, and started crying. The heart monitor started going up alerting a doctor of her unstable condition. After a few minutes Kyra walked in. She hurried over to her " Lady Crown can you please look at me?" She asks with a worried expression on her face. My angel slowly looks up. " I want to go home Ezra" she says her voice shaking " you can go home after we make sure your okay." Kyra says with a look of pity " how long will that take?" She asks shying away from her " just about an hour then Ezra can take you home" Kyra says in a gentle tone " can you unhook me from all these machines?" She asked looking around her. Kyra didn't reply instead she started unhooking all the machines. They had taken out the feeding tube a day ago. Along with her no longer being on oxygen so there wasn't much to unhook. The second the last monitor was taken off she ran to me and threw her arms around me. Tears filled my eyes as she buried her head in my shoulder. " I'm so sorry" I cry out stroking her hair. Alexia's pov " I'm so sorry" he cry's out stroking my hair " why? This wasn't your fault and it never will be" I say looking up at him. He looks so tired. " when was the last time you had a good nights rest?" I ask looking at him straight in the eyes. He fidgets before responding " the night before you went into a coma" my eyes widen "what" I yell starring at him I run my fingers through his hair. I never want to go to that dark place again. Not being able to do anything as I relive my past, but it's just that my past. " are you alright?" He asks looking at me as if there was a clue to what I was feeling. " what do you mean mentally or physically" I ask looking at him for an answer " mentally" he says still studying my face " I'm great and before you say anything he attacked me in the past not the present or future so there's nothing to be mad about" I say he stares at me like I've grown two heads " I thought you might be a bit more upset with him" he says with a confused look " I'm stronger than you think " I barely whisper. Memories of my childhood rush to my brain. Me and my sister playing. My little sister coming home for the first time. Me and Emily camping outside in the yard. My Dad not coming home after work. Then finding out the very next day that he had been killed by a head on collision with a car. My mom being so depressed that she didn't eat for weeks. After that my sister meeting Alex and becoming his bride. Them getting married and me coming to live with them. The abuse from Alex's brother, and coming home to find out that my sister was engaged. Being forced to work for a boss who would beat me for dropping a spoon. Then becoming a vampires bride. Getting to know Ezra learning to trust all over again. My life might not be so bad. Maybe just maybe this might change me for the best. " what you thinking about " he asks looking at me with a small scowl " just everything that happened to me. About how it made me stronger" I say with a smile " you never did tell me about your parents" he says and I still " you don't have to if you don't want I just want to know you better" he says trying to hide his curiosity " my dad died when my little sister Olivia was five. Emily and I took over as head of the house. Emily got a job and I helped my mom with Olivia. She never really got back on her feet after that" I say looking down slightly embarrassed " my mom died when I was seven my dad made a promise that he would always try to be a better person than he's was before he lost her." He says looking at me with his blue red eyes. " never be embarrassed of who you are or what you've been through." He says with a gentle smile. I smile back when the doctor walks in. " okay can you go sit on the bed for me?" She asks looking at me for an answer. Instead I get up and walk over to the bed I pull my self onto the bed before settling down. She checked my hate rate, and other vitals. " okay your good to go. You'll just have to sign a few papers before you can leave." She says with a cheery smile. She walk out then a few minutes later walks back in with a few sheets of paper in her hands. " alrighty all you have to do is sign the bottom paper then you can go home." She says while handing me the papers. I look over them before signing the bottom paper. She smiles then walks off. " she was awful smiley" I say looking back at him he chuckles and hands me a pair of pants and a long sleeve shirt. I just stare at them " you'll get changed into proper clothes when we get home." He says before walking away. I slowly put on the grey and red shirt. Along with the slightly ripped jeans.

He walks back in with a pair of shoes that I put on quickly. " someone is in a hurry" he says " I just want to go home" I say moving to stand beside him. He places his hand on my back and leads me to a black car. I climb into the passenger side as he gets in the drivers side. " ready to go home." He asks with a bright smile I nod yes in response. Soon the car roars to life, and were on our way home.
