Day with my angel

Ezra's pov.
I look over to see her leaving the room, and I jump to my feet. This was such a big step for her and I'm so proud she took it. I chase after her somehow she was already pretty far ahead of me. I could hear her giggling, and her feet padding softly on the ground.
" come get me" she called while still giggling
" bet you can't catch me" she added on
" oh really now" I say while slowing to a walk to let her think I didn't know where she is . I suddenly started running I caught up to her in three minutes grabbing her from behind, and spinning her around.
" I caught you Angel I win" I state with a smile
" so what's my prize?" I ask setting her down, but keeping her pulled to my chest
" did I ever say you get a reward?" She asks a coy smirk playing on her lips.
" oh sneaky girl" I say trying not to laugh probably to hard.
" what?" She asked
" nothing" I say shaking my head
" so what do you want to do today?" She asks turning to face me
" while we could walk the gardens" I suggest. Hoping she'll say yes.
" sure. I should get some sun anyway" she states with a smile. I nod not wanting to say anything that might offend her.
" don't do that" she says and I turn to look at her
" what?" I ask starring at her
" don't ice me out you yell at me for doing that to you so don't do it to me" she says giving me a pleading look
" okay I'm sorry I didn't even realize I did that." I say giving her an apologetic look
"Most people don't, but that's why you have me to remind you not to be a hypocrite." She says with a smile
" why do you know such big words?" I ask teasing her
" maybe it's because I listened during class while I was in school" she says giving me a teasing smirk
" hey I'm the only one whose allowed to tease around here" I say trying to sound serious
" oh really Mr. Crown" she says then burst out laughing. We started walking toward the doors. Once outside we headed toward the gardens, and my angel started dragging me toward the fountains. I thought we were going to stop there, but she kept dragging me until we got to a small fountain at the back of the garden. In the fountain there was white water Lilly's except for two flowers which were purple water Lilly's.
" I love this place" I say smiling at the fountain
" we call it the forgotten fountain, because none of the gardeners want to touch it for a fear of hurting the flowers" I explain
" I just like coming here because it's so beautiful" she says staring at the fountain. I shake my head before grabbing my angels hand.
" come on we should walk around like we said we would" I say with a laugh. We walk around her black hair blowing in the wind. Today is a perfect day. After a couple hours we go inside because I can tell she's getting cold. Once inside we go to the dinning room. As soon as we get in their the maids serve us an extremely late lunch, or early dinner. She eats slowly sometimes closing her eyes, and starting to nod off.
" angel if you want you can go to bed" I say worry lacing my voice.
" I'm fine" she says
" what's wrong angel, are you feeling alright" I ask suddenly feeling worried
" yeah it's just that I remembered that my birthday is in a month" she says looking down at the table. Her cheeks turning a light pink as the beginning of a blush creeps.
" do you want to celebrate?" I ask wanting to know if it would be okay to do something special
" no maybe. I don't know" she says
" hey it's not something to stress about" I state. She gives me a smile
" you know I like painting, and drawing right?" She asks giving me a questioning look.
" no you never told me that" I say feeling embarrassed
" don't worry about it " she says before stretching. I stand up and motion for her to follow me she gets up and follows me. I walk into the library she stops and looks around. I sit down admiring my angel from a far. She walks back over to me and sits down. She hand me a hard back book with a type of family crest on it. I open the book to be met with the title The Count of Monte Cristo. I chuckle
" you sure do like the old ones don't you" I say giving her an amused look.
" oldies but goodies" she replies with a grin.
" whatever you say my angel" I reply back. She laughs trying to hide the blush covering her cheeks. I wish she could see how she affected me. I begin to read, and within the first hour she starts falling asleep.
" angel" I say gently shaking her shoulder
" angel you need to get up" I say as she opens up her beautiful green gold eyes
" hmm what?" She asks confusion written all over her face.
" come on let's get you to bed" I say as I put the book mark in our book and lay it on the table. Slowly I stand up and offer her my hand. She accepts, and takes my hand. She looks so tired. We walk to her room and I stand outside until she's dressed in her night clothes. Then like the night before I stay with her till she falls asleep. Then I stay a little longer watching her calm face as she rests. God I love her. I begrudgingly walk back to my room. I change into my night clothes, and lay down to rest. After an hour and a half of failure I drift off to sleep.
