One month till wedding
Ezra's pov.
My angel has been so stressed here lately. I guess the pressure from the wedding is starting to weigh on her. I sigh while thinking of how to get her out of the castle. I want to surprise her, but she won't leave the castle. I groan and walk downstairs where I hear her and Josie talking. I walk into the room and they both turn toward me.
" may I steal her away for awhile?" I ask, and Josie nods. She smiles at me as I take my angels hand. As I'm about to lead her out of the castle she asks.
" where are we going" I smile at that and continue to lead her outside.
" somewhere special" I say not giving away any clues where we're going. We continue to walk in silence until we reach our destination.
" oh my god Ezra it's beautiful" she says smiling ear to ear.
" while you have been so stressed from the upcoming wedding I wanted to do something special" I say with a smile. She hugs me before placing her head in the crook of my neck.
" what's wrong angel?" I ask feeling worried
" nothing it's just that I have been so stressed over the wedding that I really have not had any time for us" she says gently moving her head to look up at me.
" then let's enjoy tonight" I say grabbing her hand and leading her over to the fountain and our lunch. She rushes the rest of the way until we get there. As I sit down she opens the basket of food. My little angel seems so happy God I love her so much.
" angel" I say and she hums to let me know she's listening.
" do you ever think about what life might be like after your change?" I ask feeling curious. She nods yes and smiles.
" I do sometimes, and I worry about it until I remember that I have the best person in the world to help me through it" she says with a happy smile. I smile back at her as we both begin to eat. I tell her stories of my childhood, and she tells me stories from her's. We laugh and talk the evening away. As the sky begins to turn dark she stands up and grabs my hand dragging me over to a clearing in the clouds.
" there beautiful are they not. The stars" she says I look over to see her staring up at the sky.
" they are" I say with a light smile. She looks over at me to see me staring, and she laughs.
" we should probably go back inside sweetheart" she suggests with a smile.
" I guess we should" I say taking her hand, and leading her back to the castle. As soon as we enter we hear fighting. I look at my angel before pushing her behind me and moving forward.
" you show up a month before the wedding, and now you want to pick fights with my husband" Emily yells, and I feel my angel tense. I walk into the room to see Mathew and Alex fighting with Emily yelling at Olivia.
" what in the world is going on here" I yell quieting them all down.
" Alex and Mathew are fighting for unknown reasons" Josie says from the stairs she looks tired. I see Josie look behind me and scowl.
" now you to interrupted what was supposed to be a stress free day. So tomorrow you two get to spend the whole day with each other without fighting, or neither of you go to the wedding" Josie says with her arms crossed. They both grumble a bit before Alex leaves for what I hope is his room, and Emily follows after him mumbling a quick sorry when she walks by. As for the other two they stay put.
" while aren't you two going to show us to our room?" Olivia asks us
" we can have a handmaiden show you both to your rooms" my angel says coming out from behind me.
" two separate rooms won't be necessary" Olivia says with attitude
" you two are not married so therefore you are not going to sleep in the same room" my angel replies before waving someone forward. The handmaiden quickly walks out of the shadows and over to us.
" please show my sister and her fiancé to there rooms" my angel says to her
" yes Lady Crown" the girl says before beginning to walk up the stairs. With her sister and Mathew in tow.
" good night sweetheart" she says and my shoulders sink
" ready for bed so soon my angel?" I ask her hoping the answer will be no.
" yes today has been tiring and there are many things to do tomorrow" she says before walking upstairs. I sigh and walk to the library. I pick out a book and sit down smiling to myself as I read it. Only one month before my angel is fully mine, I think. I can't wait until then, but I will for my angel.
