2 months till wedding
Alexia's pov
I walk down the stairs, and into a foyer where Emily stands holding Michele. Alex stands right next to them with a huge smile. I run over to Emily and give her a side hug along with giving Michele a kiss on the forehead.
" good to see you three" I say with a smile.
" good to see you guys too" Em says with a smile.
" so has it been crazy in the castle here lately?" Em asks
" not really I guess it'll be worse once it gets to be just about a month away" I say. Right as I say that Michele begins fussing.
" oh sorry do you have somewhere I can feed him?" She asks with a frown
" yeah just upstairs and to your left" I say with a smile. She leaves without another word.
" is she mad at me?" I ask feeling like she is
" no why would she be its just hormones" Alex says, but I just shake my head knowing he's lying.
" what is it?" I ask frowning
" she's mad that you invited Olivia, and that Olivia is a bridesmaid" Alex says
" while I have a very important job for her so tell her to stop being mad" I say with a smile. Alex walks away, and I walk toward the gardens feeling like a stroll might do me some good. As soon as I reach the door that leads to the garden I'm spun around. I stare at Ezra like he's grown two heads.
" you scared me" I state and he just laughs.
" sorry but I had to. You should have seen your face" he says, and I playfully hit his shoulder.
" your mean" I say in a whiny voice before we both burst out laughing.
" come on we have dance practice" he says taking my hand and leading me back into the castle. The dance wasn't hard it's just long. Somehow I know all the steps, but Ezra had not. Every other step he tripped which ended in him lying on the floor, and me laughing.
" hey it's not funny" he protest which just makes me laugh harder. After I finally stop laughing I say.
" you still have two more months don't worry about it" he smiles at me before getting up.
" then let's try again my angel" he says, but after many many attempts he only manages to get through eight steps before falling which is a lot of improvement. After that though we call it quits. Ezra stays behind to talk to the instructor whereas I leave for the library. I sit down once I find a book I want to read.
" an oldie but goodie" I whisper to my self. I hear someone chuckle and I turn to see Ezra standing behind me.
" would you like me to read to you angel?" He asks and I nod my head yes. He sits down beside me and takes my book. He begins to read, and I lay my head on his shoulder. Soon I begin to nod off I feel him gently shake my shoulder so I look up.
" are you feeling alright? You have been really tired the last couple of days" he says with a frown.
" I'm fine I just have not been sleeping all that well" I say looking down. I hoped he had not noticed.
" are you having nightmares again?" He asks while caressing my cheek. 
" sometimes it's nothing really scary it's just that he's there, and the things he says hurt and scare me so much. That it takes me hours to calm down, and by the time that's done I should be awake and starting my day" I say feeling embarrassed and sorry for not telling him.
" it's alright soon I will be able to keep the nightmares away" he says and I smile while giving him a hug. After our talk he continues reading but I don't remember finishing the boom. I wake up to someone gently shaking my shoulders.
" I'm here and you fall asleep without even taking to me. So rude" Em says with a smile before sitting down beside me. I turn to look at her and I see worry coat her face.
" sweetie are you feeling alright?" She asks looking even more worried.
" yes just having some trouble sleeping" I say with a smile.
" are you sure that's all it is?" She asks gently taking my hands.
" yes that's all" I say, and she nods.
" um my I ask you another question?" I ask with a smile
" sure" she says with a smile
" I was wondering since Dad is not around if you would like to give me away?" I ask feeling so nervous
" are you joking?" She asks
" no, but if you don't want to do it then you don't have to" I say feeling slightly discouraged
" are you kidding me of course I would love to give you away" she says before giving me a bear hug.
" I have to go tell Alex" she says before running out of the room. I get up and go to my room as I get undressed I think about how different it will be when I'm married. What will I be like after the change? I close my eyes and finish bradding my hair. I go to climb in bed when I hear a nock.
" come in" I say after getting comfortable under the covers. Ezra slowing walks in, and shuts the door.
"What might you be doing in my room at this hour?" I ask with a smile.
" I want to make sure you sleep well tonight" he says before walking over to my bed, and settling down on top of the covers. I move up against him before closing my eyes. Soon after I hear light snores. I laugh slightly and he stirs. Please don't wake up please don't wake up. I chant over and over in my head before he finally stops moving, and a little while after that I fall asleep casting away all my worries along with my alertness.
