It was morning but we still rode on. There was mostly a silence between all of us and I stayed at the back of the group just think about Arwen and my Father.

"What kind of army would linger in such a place?" Gimli spoke. His voice echoed off the side of the mountains. I looked up and rode towards Gimli and Legolas.

"One that is cursed." I told Gimli. He raised an eyebrow at me and I looked at Legolas.

"Long ago, the Men of the Mountain swore an oath to the last King of Gondor to come to his aid to fight." He explained. I looked at Aragorn and he slowly shook his head.

"But when the time came, when Gondor's need was dire they fled, vanishing into the darkness of the mountain." I continued as I looked up at the faces of the mountain.

"and so Isildur cursed them, never to rest until they have fulfilled their pledge." Legolas finished the story and Gimli looked up at us with interest in his eyes. The dusty road slowly turned into a sinister looking forest. Something did not feel right about this place. We dismounted out horses and walked along with them.

"They very warmth of my blood seems stole away." Gimli said as he looked around alerted. We walked on and towards an opening into the mountain. It was the Doorway. The arched stone had ancient writing written across it.

"The way is shut. It was made by those who are dead. And the dead keep it. The way is shut." Legolas read the writing and as he did each word lit up. A ghostly wind blew out of the doorway. Legolas and Aragorn's horses were frightened and ran from them. Vanessa did not run but I sensed her fear. She nieghed and back away from the door. I looked up at her and saw the nervousness in her eyes.

"Vanessa, be safe. Ill find you." I kissed her nose then let her go. She bowed slightly then ran back to the camp sight. I turned back to the doorway and Aragorn was looking at me.

"I do not fear death." Aragorn said firmly as he dashed into the door. I looked to Legolas and he reached out for my hand. We ran in together hand in hand. We came to what looked like a city. A city within the Mountain. However, it was all see though, ghostly. Gimli ran up beside me. I felt a cold breezed and tightened my hand around Legolas'.

"Who enters my domain." A voice asked. It sounded as if it came from all around us. I turned and saw what appeared to be a General. Or a leader at least. Aragorn showed no fear and he stood his ground.

"One who will have your allegiance." Aragorn said as he stared the ghost straight into the eye.

"The dead do not suffer the living to pass." The ghost sounded rather angry.

"You will suffer me!" Aragorn's voice boomed. The General found it amusing as he let out an evil, sinister sounding laugh. There was another cold breeze then we were surrounded by an army of ghost soldiers.

"The way is shut. It was made by those who were dead. And the dead keep it. The way is shut. Now you must die." The General took a step closer to us. My eye grew in shock but then Legolas let go of my hand and quickly notched an arrow and fired at the General. Of course, being dead, it went right through him. He just lost a perfectly good arrow.

"Nice going." I whispered to Legolas and rolled my eyes. He looked down at me and shrugged.

"I summon you to fulfill your oath!" Aragorn spoke. The soldiers took a step closer.

"None but the King of Gondor may comand me! That line was broken." The ghost's voice was angered. Then Aragorn took out the Sword of Elendil and showed the Ghost army the sword. The Ghost king raised his sword and swung it but Aragorn blocked it with his sword.

"That line was broken" The ghost Leader whispered. Aragorn grabbed his throat and chocked him. Which I did not find possible.

"It has been remade. Fight for us and regain your honor." Aragorn let go and looked towards the Leader and his army.

"What say you? What say you?!" Aragorn walked around as if challenging any soul dumb enough to attack.

"What say you?!" Aragorn roared with aggression.

"You waste your time, Aragorn" Gimli spoke. His voice was riddled with fear.

"He is right. They had no honor in life, they have none now in death" I called to him as his back was turned to us. However, he ignored me and continued to approach the General.

"I am Isildur's Heir. Fight for me and I will hold your oaths fulfilled." Aragorn pointed his sword to the King. There was a silence. I watched the Ghosts around me but none moved. We all waited on the Leader to speak.

"What say you!" I firmly yelled from behind Aragorn. I grew more impatient the more we waited for a responce. The General hesitated but then nodded.

"We fight. But give us your word, despite if you win or lose, you will let us go." He said stepping forward towards us.

"You will help us win! And we will!" I yelled from behind Aragorn. They both looked back at me. Aragorn sighed. I shook my head at him.

"I will. I give you my word" He whispered. The General looked around to the other warriors then nodded.

"We fight" I said with a crooked smile when he said that. The soldiers around me cheered for they will finally be rid of the curse. Aragorn led us back outside into the fresh air. Once we made it out we followed south to the river and soon enough, we spotted the black pirate ships which were heading to Gondor. Legolas and I crouched behind the bushes of the river bank.

"Ready?" He whispered. As he notched an arrow onto his bow.

"As Ill ever be" I whispered back. I also notched an arrow and took aim. I nodded to Legolas and we released our arrow at the same time. Both our arrows killed a crew member on deck. Legolas nodded to Aragorn and he ran towards the ship to take over. The green soldiers ran though the boat to take out the crew men below deck. Legolas and I ran out from the bushes to join the others.

Once all the pirates were killed, we settle into the boat. I sat down near the edge of the boat and leaned back to close my eyes. No one spoke, the only noise we heard was the sound of the creaking sails. The winds were soft and we were going so slow. It was only the four of us on deck. I had no idea where the ghosts were.

"Aragorn, we move so slowly! We'll never get there with this wind!" I complained, lifting my head to face him.

"You can control the winds, lass. You do something about it." Gimli called to me from the opposite side of the boat. I rolled my eyes at him then looked up towards the sky. I summoned strong winds. When the sail caught them, we moved faster the before.

"There" I smiled at Gimli. One again I sat back and closed my eyes.
