I was in a lounge filled with chairs for all the wolves. I had opened the blood red drapes after getting here ten minutes early to wait for my companions. Its now five minutes after ten and I was getting annoyed at the obvious display of a small rebellion. I had texted everyone last night at eight to be here at ten. I also had wake up calls sent to each room earlier this morning, so there was no excuse to be even a minute late. Everyone had already been up and had claimed to be prepared to show, but looking around at the six people here they obviously weren't.
My rage simmered in my blood, but I sat still and straight. I didn't slouch, pout, or growl nor did I spin in my chair, no matter how badly I wanted to. I had allowed one more minute for anyone to show before letting out a booming howl to show my frustration. The thumps of men landing on the floor cause me and the others to chuckle. There is growls of anger and rustles of clothing as the doors down the hall open. Thirty middle aged men parade down the hall. They struggle to keep there composer as I smile, satisfied with my work.
"By all means you don't need to rush on my account," I say sarcastically. A few give me a glare but most grimace apologetically and take a seat.
We sit silently as the charged air becomes thick with arrogance and authority. I had originally planned for us to sit in circle, but somehow every person was now facing me, and waiting for me to kick off the discussion. Kiowa and his beta both shift awkwardly away from the glaring eyes. The beta, Elliot Jones tries scooting his chair away. He sits with his back straight and hands on his knee's. He turns robotically giving me his full attention so I can start the discussion.
"I wanted to start off by saying that I wasn't pleased arriving here yesterday to a potential bloodbath. I expect each of you to learn form that and to not let it to happen again. I understand the hatred and even the need to spill blood, but if it happens again then you will be suffering the consequences. "
"With that being said I was proud if not happy to see each of you acting civil to the vampires at the dinner. I will need you to keep it up because there will be plenty more whether you like it or not. We will not cause problems with each other or the vampires that we share this building with."
Many scoff, but don't say anything. Jonathan Hagger, alpha of red moon pack , opens his mouth to argue, but I shut him up with a glare.
Will you get someone to watch him. He's been in the middle of every problem i've had . Mark writes down Mr. Haggers name to pass on to security and leaves to track them down. He's unaffected by the eyes that follow him, and for that I'm grateful. Without Mark's calm demeanor and ability to follow orders without objection I would be rocking in the corner of a white padded room.
Kiowa clears his throat and I turn my attention back to the men. "So besides making nice with the vampires we also need..."
"Well, for someone that wants to make nice with us vamps you sure have way of doing it." I hear Fang say in a sarcastic manner cause me to topple out of my chair. I glare baring my teeth with a dagger in my right hand before I can think about the consequences. I quickly straighten my clothes and place the knife in the security guys hand who just walked in behind Mark. The security man doesn't say anything as he leans against the wall. I turn back to Fang. "Why are you here?"
"I'm hear because you woke me up with your freaking dino roar and ruined my good dream," he says pouting and crossing his arms.
"Sorry to disturb you, your highness. We were having a few issues, but that still doesn't give you a right to come onto our territory."
"My apologies if I was disrupting, but you were disturbing me. Don't let it happen again princess," he says pulling a chair up next to me.
Confused, I turn to look at him. He should be leaving not getting comfortable in his pj's. "What are you doing?"
