"Woah, just how many songs do you write a day, Namjoon?" Jaehee asks, as we make our way over to him. Classes have now ended, and me and Jaehee have just went out to the field, where benches and tables were, as Namjoon and Lucas were there, waiting. "We've known each other for so long, but I'm still not used to how dedicated you are."

"Well, you know, I always look for an inspiration." he shrugs, smiling slyly and getting back to writing his lyrics on his phone. As always, Lucas was doing something else and didn't bother greeting us. And.. as always, I still sat next to him. He was.. drawing.

"What is that?" I wasn't really sure what he was drawing. Right now, I could only make out a bird. He looked up from the drawing to me, "You'll see." that was an expected reply from him, as he always gave out vague replies that just.. made me want to scold him and dye his hair purple as punishment..

"Oh, and before I forget!" Jaehee suddenly speaks up, her gaze averting from her purse, to us. "My birthday is tomorrow." she was excited about it, but there was something in her smile that made me think that there was something else she was thinking about. "You and Lucas should come over."

"Come over?" Lucas said slowly. Oh god. I could already tell what he was going to say, and I didn't care if he knew what I was going to say, too. Things always came down to this.

"Yeah!" I beat him to it. "We're coming over!" before he could even say something, I add a question, "You should've informed me earlier, Jaehee.. how do you expect me to give you a present?" I frowned, making her smile small.

"You don't need to buy me a gift, Irina." she shrugged. Namjoon, who was nudging her, gave her a knowing look, which I did not get. Which meant-- he was asking Jaehee something I didn't know, that she did.. "Look, I don't really want to throw a party for my birthday, and I really prefer spending it with just you guys."

"Just us?" my eyes widened a bit. I mean, come on! I love Jaehee, and I know she has plenty of friends, but I never really thought it would come down to the point that we were the only ones coming over for her birthday. "And hey, you should invite Chanyeol," I motioned over to the red-head that was hanging out with his friends nearby.

"Maybe you should throw your own party," Namjoon scoffed, making me roll my eyes. I decided to ignore him. Because really, I needed to save my words for my future arguments with him, which would probably be occurring tomorrow..

"I insist! What do you want for your birthday?" I questioned. She smiled on how nice I was being, since I was such a really great friend, before saying: "I love shoes. And really, it's okay wether you give me heels, sneakers, blah blah.. you decide." as she said that, I didn't know why I kept thinking about shades.

"Shades it is, then." I voiced out my thoughts, making the blonde beside me sighed.

"Where do you live?" Lucas asks, his gaze fixed on his drawing. Now I can finally make sense of his work-- it was a bird standing on a branch, drinking water where the wood was edging from. Why was he so talented? I was kinda jealous. But hey! I'm proud of myself.

"I'll text all of you my address. Leave everything else to me. You can come home with me tomorrow after school, and I'll let the drivers drive you back home if you want to." now, she was obviously worried if we were going or not, concerning the look on her face, and I did understand why; it was her first time inviting people over, probably.

"All right, all right." Namjoon nods, tucking his phone in his pocket.

Out of a sudden, a thought popped into my mind. "I haven't told you guys before, so I'll say it now.." I eyed them to see if there was any look of disapproval, and since only Namjoon had that look, I continued, "Okay, so before my Uncle flew here from Korea, he actually bumped into Mr. Choi in one of their business meetings."
