"In this room, everyone is themselves." Ms. Wong's voice rang from behind me. I moved away and let go of Lucas' cheek, looking over my shoulder and seeing her walking inside the room. The others, who were also working, stopped. "It's nice to know that our talents and hobbies is what makes us.. well, us."

"Good morning!" I greeted, waving casually. She nodded over to me and smiled, before continuing with whatever she had to say next: "I'm thinking about letting you do a simple activity.. find yourself a partner."

I turned to the side to look at Lucas, but mentally cursed at myself when she added, "But they must not be the same field as you. That means," she walked over to me and Lucas, then shook her head, smiling small. "You have to pair up with someone else." she moved away to scan the whole class, "And after that, both of you must teach each other your hobby."

I eyed the room to see who still didn't have a partner, and I was pretty much elated when I found the girl with bangs, who's name I forgot, locking eyes with me. I smiled widely, and she made her way over, "Hey." she greeted, smiling small.

"Hello. I'm Kyon Irina, and... I forgot your name." I laughed awkwardly. She was a bit taller than me, but not that it mattered that much. I mean.. I was wearing heels, so we looked like we were the same height. I hated feeling short. Because I was.. god.

"It's okay. I'm Liu Jaehee, nice to meet you!" she shook my hand, which was out of a sudden, but I wasn't complaining. Ms. Wong was on the side, obviously observing us and not interested to say again what she had instructed us to do. We sat down on the floor.

"What do we do again?" I questioned. Okay, maybe I did listen-- but I didn't know things would be this.. intense.

"We teach other.. our hobbies? I think that's it. Maybe I should teach you mine first?" she grinned. "Dancing." At her words, I couldn't help but sulk. As I said, I pretty much sucked at everything else but being sarcastic and pottery. I loved dancing, cause it looked funny and cool, but dancing hated me. Probably cause I found it funny..

"How about we get to know each other first?" I suggested, secretly hoping that she didn't notice I was stalling time so I wouldn't dance. On second thought, I didn't really care what others would think of me, and it does seem fun..

Jaehee tapped my shoulder and pointed to the side, where Lucas was sitting with a familiar guy, whom I assumed was Jaehee's friend. The man handed Lucas a piece of paper and a pencil, and god knows if they were going to draw each other or play games, I didn't know. But it was nice to guess. Kind of funny. "Look, partners to partners."

"Hmm, what's his name?" I questioned, since I was, not even going to filter, bad at remembering things. I readied my potter's wheel and some ceramic.

"Kim Namjoon." she says, watching me as I turned the wheel on. I let it spin for a while, since I decided to get to know her more before starting. "Lucas Leonhart, the blonde, right?"

"Yeah, he says he prefers getting called Luke, though." I shrugged. "Also, you and Namjoon seem really close, what's the case behind that?" I asked curiously.

"Actually.. we studied in the same high school in Korea.. in addition to that, we were in the same group of friends." she smiled, "How about you and Lucas?"

"Don't tell anybody else.. I got into a hostage this one time.. I was trapped inside this claustrophobic room, and I tried making my way out of the hostage by talking my out of it-- and here's a tip, don't talk your way out of hostages. They don't work. I thought I was done for; until Lucas entered the room out of nowhere and punched this guy, and knocked the other one out, man, he was my hero." I explained, motioning my hands and doing weird sound effects as I did so.

When I was done with the story, Jaehee's brows curled into a furrow, "Wait.. so, he saved you in a hostage?"

I playfully rolled my eyes, "I'm kidding.. we met yesterday."

She seemed surprised, maybe because I faked the whole cool 'how-we-met' thing, but hey, she's gotta get used to it.. "Still.. it's cool that you're also from Korea. You're.. half-Chinese, right?" by this time, I already started instructing her about what to do and what not while working on the potter's wheel.

"Mhm. It's been a while, almost a year, since I came back to Korea, and I'm just more than happy that this is my last year studying here. After that, I'm planning to go back to Korea. Namjoon too."

"Woah, you seem really excited, any reason why?" I cocked an eyebrow. I stood up to sit beside her and assist her on how to shape the ceramic.

"Here in the UK, I live with my Aunt and Uncle. But my family and friends are in Korea-- not only that, but there's someone waiting for me.." the edge of her lips twitched into a grin, and I couldn't help but smile as well. I never had a lovelife before, one, I don't know, and two, a huge whatever.

"Ooh," I teased. "Bother explaining further?"

She shook her head, "I feel guilty making him wait for so long, I really do. Back in our last year in high school, he promised me he'd wait. I only come back to Korea twice to thrice per year, and I know it's hard. I just hope he's doing well. We do keep in touch, but yeah, it's still difficult."

"Don't worry, I'm rooting for you." I reassured. I couldn't imagine being away from so many people you love for years, and rarely see them. I could only imagine my own problem, like never seeing them at all. But I'd like to believe I'd see my brother someday.

"Thanks." she flashed me another smile as we continued to work on the vase. "How about you? Anyone on your mind lately? Or.. anyone special?"

I nodded, "Yeah. We've been together for 4 years."

"Really? What's his name?" her eyes lit up.

I sighed, "I'm kidding. I don't have a boyfriend or anyone, I'm way too busy with other things, like.. trying to find inspiration to work out." she laughed softly at my words, and I turned my head to see how Lucas and Namjoon were doing.

"What are they doing anyways, drawing each other like french girls?" I cocked an eyebrow. Jaehee looked up.

"Hmm. That wouldn't be original-- but they're writing lyrics." she pointed out, before working on the vase again. For a newbie, she was quite good. "Namjoon makes music."

"Well I'm jealous," I helped her with the work again. "The only thing I can do is this."

"It's a unique talent, you should be proud of it." she reassured. I nodded slowly.

"Jaehee," I called, making her look up. I smiled and lightly pinched her cheek, leaving some ceramic on her face like I did with Lucas.

"Hey!" she laughed.
