Today was the school fare.

That meant we had 1 week; holding booths alone or by pairs. According to Lucas, some people who weren't interested in holding them could just take written works. But now that I think about it, I had a bad feeling about it. Man.. just how much of a joy-killer could those people be?

I went to school early today for 2 reasons. One, I wanted to see how everyone was going to prepare their booth. And apparently, I was too early. When I arrived, only one person was there, and he didn't even have a booth! He was studying. Definitely not my field! Second, I wanted to prepare my booth without people staring.

Now, it was raining, so I definitely did not have any plans to go outside. Just to be clear, I did not have anything against the rain, but once thunder strikes, I am out. I was now secretly hoping it was just light rain, and nothing to come after that.

I hated thunder. In fact, I feared it. I remembered that when I was young, when Uncle wasn't there, it was always the time thunder comes along. I was always alone when facing it. Sure, I wore headphones at times, but I was still alone. As long as I knew it was there, as long as I hear it, as long as I see it's light, as long as I'm alone, I'm scared.

But I didn't like talking about that.

You see, my booth was a total surprise! The structure itself was a huge red tent, on top of a wooden platform-- which made it even more mysterious. Don't get the wrong idea! All I really hoped was to beat Namjoon to this and have Chanyeol compliment me. At the thought of Chanyeol, I wonder what booth he's holding?

Inside the red tent, lying on the floor is an abstract carpet. There were small lights, christmas lights, probably, wrapping around the walls of the tent, and in the farthest, middle part was a small table. From its opposites sides, there were flat pillows were people would be sitting..

Since it has been 30 minutes since I got here, I decided to go outside to check the others' booths. I stood up, placing my phone inside my pocket and walking outside of the tent, not bothering to walk down the platform. I glanced at the entrance, seeing Lucas coming out of a black car.

"Ma'am," one of the guards said to me, handing me an umbrella, as he noticed I was going there, "Do you want us to go with you?" he questioned, and I shook my head. I actually forgot Uncle instructed 2 bodyguards to come with me to school so I could be safe. Ah.. this was not going to get me some customers!

I gratefully took the umbrella and made my way over to Lucas, who didn't seem to be aware of my presence. He was wearing headphones, so I doubt he would hear me if I called for him. I laughed mischievously, pulling out my phone and typing in his number, before pressing the phone to my ears.

"Irina?" he placed his headphones around his neck and pulled out his phone; though he was a distance away, I could feel him furrowing his eyebrows, and I let out a low laugh.

"This isn't Irina. I'm following you." this time, whilst talking, I managed to hide behind a tree. I kept snickering to myself, of course this was a good idea! Sucks that I enjoyed this joke by myself.. when I expected him to reply something odd, I felt a tap on my shoulder from behind, and I tensed.

"You're making yourself look like a fool," he pointed out, and my eyes narrowed. He really is a huge joy-killer! "You're running around campus, you know."

"Oh whatever, no one cares." I rolled my eyes.

"You're here early." he says, noticing that there were not much people yet. As I said before, Lucas was always early as hell. So me beating him to it, I was here hella early. "And you never really told me what booth you're holding."
