Carter and I bonded a little and caught up on each others lives. Time flew by because when I looked at the clock it was 8:00pm.
"My shift is over. See you tomorrow Carter!" I said with a wave and walked out.
She waved back and helped the customer that walked in.
When I got home I saw Connor and Jc about to get into a fist fight.
"What the hell is going on?" I asked putting my purse down and walking over to them.
"Which one of us do you like better?" Jc asked.
"I like both of you equally." I said as if it was obvious.
"No I'm mean, like like." Jc said.
"I don't know. Who said I even liked one of you?" I asked.
"No one." Jc replied defeated. "If you had to pick, who would it be?"
"Probably Connor. Or maybe you. I don't know, okay? that's a hard to choose because I like like both of you!" I said running up the stairs with tears stinging my eyes.
