Glancing out your window, you automatically went closer as you saw Hidan coming into the apartment building to head home. Just like always, blood was smeared across his arms and some on his face, his clothes were torn a little and he had several injuries. He lived across the hall from you, but was an acquaintance at best. If you talked to him, he wouldn't hesitate to respond, but you didn't know anything about him. He came and went, always a little mysterious, and apart from when you crossed paths in the hallways you never really talked. You weren't sure just when you'd started to notice when Hidan came home at night, but now you had, you always looked out for him. The first time you noticed, you couldn't remember if he'd been like that before, or this was a new development. Either way, as he got close to the building it was obvious he was injured. Though you had been concerned upon seeing it, wondering if he had been mugged or something while heading home, when you saw him in the morning, he wasn't acting any differently and went on as normal, meaning you didn't mention it.
Of course, then you'd seen it again.
Every night he came home looking like that, and although your imagination had come up with several theories as to why, there was nothing concrete. You didn't know enough about him to gather evidence and figure it out, which left you utterly curious, and staying close to your window at night in order to watch him arrive. But over time, your curiosity had developed into concern. Though you didn't exactly know Hidan, he was a nice guy—even if some of the others complained he was loud and obnoxious. You liked him, and you had to admit he was hot. It was hard to ignore how muscular he was—plus, he had a nice ass. Overall, you just wanted to make sure he was okay. Of course, that would have been a lot easier if you knew how to approach him about it. No doubt it would sound pretty creepy if you just walked up to him and pointed out you'd been watching him come home from your window every night. As much as you were curious and concerned, you weren't about to let yourself come across as some kind of stalker. So, a couple of days went by with you still unsure as to how you should broach the subject.
During those days, however, you noticed he seemed a little more uncomfortable in the mornings. Not in his routine or how he acted, but when he moved. As if something was tender and he was trying to avoid making it worse. To most, they would have ignored and dismissed it, but you couldn't. Not when you knew what was making him like that. Then the next night, and you noticed he still had injuries that he'd obtained a while back, and guessing he wasn't particularly skilled in first aid, you developed your plan to approach him, ready to put it into effect the very next day. You had a stack of things 'in case of an emergency', and in the morning, you grabbed the bandages and the antiseptic solution as you were heading out. You didn't spot Hidan until you reached the ground floor and the mailboxes, where Hidan was looking through is. Immediately you watched him wince as he moved his arm, gently rubbing the area that hurt, and rolling your eyes at his lack of aftercare for his injuries, you walked over without hesitation and called his name.
As expected, he turned around to look at you, smirking and greeting you in return. Raising an eyebrow as you began to search through your bag without saying anything else to him, Hidan blinked in surprise a moment later as you brought out your medical supplies and handed them to him, still speechless as you stated bluntly,
"If you don't take proper care of your injuries, they're going to get infected, you know."
With that, you didn't bother to explain further, instead turning and going out the door to get to work. Though you doubted he was about to get angry at your actions, you didn't know how he would react, so thought it best to just get on with your day. You'd find out how he felt soon enough, anyway, so you went about your day as usual, before heading back to your apartment just like you always did. It was only then that you began to contemplate what might happen once you got home, but dismissed it for the most part. There was no sign of Hidan as you pulled up to the building, and so you headed up the stairs to your apartment—at which point things began to get a little different than usual. This time, Hidan was standing outside your apartment, leaning against the door. Gathering he'd been waiting for you, he immediately turned to look at you with a smirk as you arrived, automatically making you do the same, before you noticed he was carrying the things you had given him this morning—and that they were untouched. Narrowing your eyes at that fact, wondering why that was, he answered the question for you as you reached your door, stating teasingly,
"Thanks for the supplies—but I don't know how to use them. Figured you could help me out."
Halting at how direct he was, along with his audacity, you abruptly shook your head and laughed at the fact, stepping past him to slide your keys into the lock. As the door opened, you glanced over your shoulder and shot back playfully,
"Guess you'd better come in and lie down then."
