CHAPTER 6

Shanes POV:

Alexandre is fast asleep, these last few weeks have been the best of my life. I know I'm not very talkative, but with her she makes me feel alive again. I have never shown anyone not even my ex the place where I think or need to escape. I don't know what it is about her that draws me in, it can only mean she's the one, Alexandra accepts my life style and everything about me, she looks for all the good in the bad.

I have never felt this way before, she gave me her virginity, I feel like the luckiest bastard on the planet. I will always cherish that, I never want to let her go ever. She was amazing, I have been with a few women but her she is out of this world in bed and in every other aspect. I cuddle her and she moves into my arms, I drift off.

I hear my phone and answer trying not to wake Alexandra "what the fuck it's 2:30 in the morning, what?".

Drago my head of security breaks the news "boss there's trouble at one of your clubs".

I get up not to wake her, too late she's stirring. Denier continues "we need you here boss".

"I can't my girlfriend is here" I answer exasperated and continue "ok send some of the best guys to the house, I want her safe, be there in few" I get dressed. Alexandra just woke up she looks so beautiful but worried. I have to tell her "Ally baby, there's a problem, I have to go, but I will have someone looking out for you I will be back as soon as I can".

In a groggy sweet voice she answers "please be safe". The fact that she cares so much and I can genuinely see it, makes me want to just hold her.

"I will be I promise" I answer giving her a soft kiss.

Alexandra POV:

I can't help but feel despondent Shane has been gone over an hour and I still can't sleep. I wonder what is going on. I put the TV on and watch the news, I see a fire has broken out at one of his clubs, they are assuming arson or a bomb. Oh my God no, I call him and Shane answers quickly "hey babe, you should be sleeping".

I answer very concerned "I can't without you, I saw the news, what happened?" trying to sound normal.

Shane answers trying to sound like it's nothing "a rival gang someone trying to make a name, don't worry I'm safe, are you ok there? I will be home soon".

I answer reassuringly "I'm ok the men have been very sweet, checking in on me every 15 minutes, they are guarding me well all entrances to the room is blocked".

I hear Shane sigh "I'm sorry you're there alone, I will be home in the next 15 or so minutes"

I answer brightly "ok handsome, see you then". I lay and knowing he is safe I drift off to sleep. I feel someone on the bed, but it doesn't feel like Shane, I turn around to find a man in a mask, I scream as loud as I can, he tries to shut me up. Shane kicks the door open, and shoots the man on the bed he falls to the floor.

I run to him and he holds me. Hunter is behind Shane "Hunter! get someone to get rid of this and question the men how someone got in here to Ally, someone is gonna pay for this! Did he hurt you baby?" Shane asks concerned.

I answer reassuring Shane "no I'm alright".

Shane says apologetically "let's go to your place it should be alot safer there's not much they can do in a penthouse". I nod, it's four in the morning and we make our way to my place, I go straight to bed and Shane joins me after a quick shower, before we know it, we are out cold.

Shane has left some things here in case he stays over. I wake up at about eight in the morning, I smell breakfast. I brush my teeth and I walk toward the kitchen and he is cooking up a storm. "Smells amazing baby" I say as I take a seat. Shane smiles, he makes bacon, eggs, mushrooms, fried tomatoes, toast, "mmm" I make a sound and he laughs when I take a piece of bacon. I pour myself a coffee and watch my beautiful boyfriend shirtless and perve on him.
