CHAPTER 29

Alexandra POV:

He carries me into the house and puts me down and I just stand there in my safe place and then it happens, I break down. I just drop but Shane catches me, I cry and cry and he carries me to the couch and I'm on his lap and he just holds me, gently but enough to know he won't let go. "Ally it's going to be ok", he says softly.

"What happened to Jason?" I ask worriedly.

"He is recovering he had surgery, he was hurt badly, he was shot". Hearing Shane say that, I cry even more. Shane whispers, "let all out babe I won't let you go", after what feels like hours I finally feel ok. Shane draws me a bath and I ask him if he will join me just to hold me

I Sat truthfully to Shane, "I don't want to be away from you for a second right now, I'm afraid to be alone".

Shane reassures me, "I'm here babe I'm not going anywhere". Shane was shot in his left shoulder so he is a bit sore aswell.

I put a silk top and shorts pajamas on Shane puts a pajama pants on and my my wrist is in a bandage, Shane treats all my cuts and bruises, and I change his shoulder dressing, thank goodness he can have the scar removed when it's heald. It's so late we climb into bed taking some pain medication that's safe for the baby, and Shane takes his stuff and we settle in. "I have to tell you why she was after you Ally, she was obsessed with you according to Derek, he thought she was just a fan of your work, but it ran deeper, to top it off she was the Russian Don's daughter, my family took them out years ago and her brother and her sought revenge when she learned you are a Romano, they threatened my family when my dad was still alive and tried to take America and Italy, so it was a war, she was a sick girl obsessed by family hatred and you".

I am laying in his arm, tears run. "It's not your fault so don't blame yourself, I'm just happy to be back home with you, I knew you would come, and I see you got all your people from all over just to look for me, thank you".

"I would die for you if I had too", Shane says as he kisses my forehead and I start to drift off I whisper "I love you Shane".

"I love you too Ally".

I work from home the next few weeks, and I am really starting to show now, such a cute bump, I'm all heald up. Shane has his new club opening tonight, so we will be doing that, I have so much protection now it's stifling, but I'm glad because I'm safe.

Nicki has been over alot lately and it turns out Max proposed, I'm so over the moon for her. My brother and Maya have been sending over so much baby presents and so are my parents, Shane's mom sent over some things from Italy, she will be staying with us from Monday for a week, don't ask me how that happened. I am finally in a good space after what happened. Our wedding issue flew off the shelves, it's amazing, it looked amazing, I'm so glad my magazine is stronger than ever in my absence, but I get alot done at home. I'm afraid to go back, so I have purchased a new building a bigger one because we are expanding too so that will be done on a few weeks, and we are moving over, it will be right in the city centre. I have started doing a baby room, I have chosen all white, with hints of colour as we don't know the sex, so I will be working on that till the baby arrives.

"Ally it's almost time for the opening are you ready?" Shane asks. I wear a loose white Valentino gown with one shoulder like a grecian gown with a silver embellishment on the shoulder , to conceal my bump as the public doesn't know yet, with a silver clutch and sandal. I put my hair up pined in the back with tendrils and do dramatic make up with a bold pink lip, I put on an all diamond necklace, tennis bracelet and diamond drop earrings. "I'm ready, I coming out", I say loudly.

Shane smiles warmly, "you look stunning babe and your glowing". We haven't been intimate in a while, just because I can't bear to be touched, but Shane is supportive, never complaining, some guy did try to rape me so I feel a bit off about sex I told him what happened and he wants me to take my time  I assured him that it's not him. Shane looks hot, he wears a black suit, and tie and a white shirt, he looks handsome as usual, I will never tire from seeing him looking so handsome.
