For the Love of a Bad Boy

CHAPTER 30

I lay on his chest and pull the blanket over us, and we lay kissing, I roll onto my side and spoons me hand round my belly and we drift off to sleep. I wake up about and hour or so later it's about four thirty am, I'm restless and Shane is sleeping soundly. I need something to drink, I never did get that water I smile, I grab Shane's shirt, just about closing around my belly and put on my slippers and panty, I go to the kitchen. I get a glass of Cranberry juice, I can't go back to sleep.

I put the TV on and watch the news then the fashion channel. I watch to see how the magazine does and we are going strong, my pregnancy news is out there, and I see they have the footage of tonight. I smile, we look like quite the couple, I look at Shane on the TV, he really is dazzling and only has eyes for me, its so clear when you see him how much he loves me when we are together. I love this man so much, I don't know what I would do without him.

I hear something and I'm on alert it's still dark. I sit in the dark and I see Shane walk into the living room, "Ally what are you doing up it's like five in the morning", Shane asks sleepily.

I breathe a sigh of relief he notices, "I'm sorry baby I didn't mean to scare you, just breathe", he sits next to me and holds me. Luckily it's Saturday morning, we don't have work, Shane gets a blanket and we lay on the couch, he gets me some ice-cream, and we sit and chat and I show him what I saw on TV.

I feel a flutter in my tummy I'm about five months, I'm not carrying very big, but I have a sizable bump I unbutton his shirt I have on, he looks at me with confusion "again?" he asks.

I laugh "no", I pull Shane's hand and place it on my stomach we feel the baby really move for the first time, usually it's just flutters and slight movements inside, but it's such a special moment he takes a video with his phone, I giggle.

"I feel the baby", he says with excitement, I feel the baby move more when he puts his hand there. We named the baby Jamie if it's a girl it still doubles, it's the name we settled on.

We doze off on the couch it's about nine am when Helena gently wakes us, "I'm sorry Mrs Romano but there's a package for you, and you have an appointment at eleven with the doctor".

"Thank you so much Helena", u say a bit groggy. I gently shake Shane awake, babe we have a package and our appointment".

Shane gets up yawning and smiling, "let's go have a shower", he says and I nod in agreement.

Helena says "I will get breakfast ready Ma'am, Sir", I nod. We have a shower and make out a little, we get dressed I put on a cute maroon tennis skirt, panty hose and a stiletto boot, with a black t-shirt, my leather jacket and a maroon scarf. Shane wears a black jean, white t-shirt and his leather jacket, and a rocker boot, so hot.

We eat breakfast, spinach bacon and cheese omelettes with orange juice, I'm stuffed. Helena is such a good cook, tomorrow is her birthday and I got her a day at a spa. We take Shane's silver lamborghini, to the hospital, we feel a bit fun and flirty today. I go to my Doctor, and I am given a clean bill of health we are both doing great, we are having a 4D scan done to determine the sex of the baby and we can slightly see what the baby looks like. She does the scan and we get to see our baby, he holds my hand and kisses my forehead and my tears fall.

Doctor Matthews says, "well Mr and Mrs Romano you are having a beautiful baby boy".

"Really?" I ask so excited, she nods and smiles "really".

I feel my tears run now, and I look up at Shane and I think I have only seen him cry twice, but he is crying, he kisses me, "I will let you get dressed Mrs Romano". I get dressed and meet her back in the room. Shane puts the next appointment his calendar and we get a print out of the picture and a digital copy. We go back to the car, "I can't believe Jamie is a boy", Shane says so excited.
