Evelyn's Home

Sean: (runs across the stage to Evelyn) Evelyn! Evelyn! Dean's gone!

Evelyn: Gone! What do you mean gone!

Sean: I mean that he is no longer present. Departed! Poof! Gonezo! Disappeared! Left the town! Vamoose!-

Evelyn: Wait! What did you just say?!?

Sean: Vamoose?

Evelyn: No! I mean before that!

Sean: Oh! (casually) He left the town.

Evelyn: What!? Where did he go! No one ever leaves the town!

Dean's Gone

Sean: (slow) (Speaking) Sean: (Singing now)
Vamoose, yeah! That's what I said! Dean is my brother. We have to find him. You see I love him... sort of, and my parents can't know! Please Evelyn! This is no joke! You have to believe me. You're the only one who knows___

Sean: (spoken) Wait a minute! Why don't you believe me when you're the one who came up with the crazy directer thing?

Evelyn: Hey!

Sean: It's true! (Continues to sing)
You have to realize that Dean's gone! You've got to face the facts... Dean's gone. He was here one second and then poof! Dean's gone! Departed! Poof! Gonezo! Disappeared! Left the town!________

Evelyn: Okay! We get it!

Sean: Geesh tough crowd!

Evelyn: I'm going after him! Now hand me that book!

Sean: But you can't leave town! I was just thinking you could cover for him until he comes back!

Evelyn: You want him back, don't you

Sean: Yes.

Evelyn: Then hand me the book. (he obeys) And besides, if he can do it then so can I!

Sean: I don't know, Evelyn. You're only a girl!

Evelyn: (chuckles) And you are only a child! You're point?

Sean: Um... Don't forget your coat! (runs offstage)

Evelyn: And Dean says that I'm the one who always gets in trouble.
