Scene: 10

The Kingdom Elphiendia

Evelyn:

But through the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul___ Can I find that part of me?____

Serena: We're almost there. It shouldn't be much farther.

Amber: Finally!

Serena: Welcome to Elphiendia!

Evelyn: It's so beautiful!

Dean: I didn't know that the forest was so big!

Redmond: I did. But I didn't know this kingdom even existed.

Serena: Come. We must find them... quickly.

Evelyn: You're right only... who are we looking for?

Serena: Kythaela and Alyas Balbalar and the prince and princess of Elphiendia. They are very powerful individuals with not only magic, but hunting. Kythaela is the daughter of the present king and queen. And the only way they can rule together is to defeat Bestanden. Not so much Directer but, you know!

Redmond: Do you really think they'll help us?

Serena: Well, Alyas is Kythaela's husband. He is very protective over her. But they know their mission, I bet they will.

Dean: Sounds good to me-

(the elf guards attack them and surround them, speaking a different language)

Kythaela: (speaking Elphienian to guards) Who are you and why have you come to my kingdom?

Alyas: Our kingdom.

Serena: Your highness... es, we are here with good news.

Evelyn: We can help you complete your mission... so you can rule together.

Alyas: (putting his hand on his bow) How do you know of our mission?

Serena: I told them. We need your help with defeating Bestanden. He's gotten much stronger and he's started kidnapping children from Valliea. It won't be much longer until he takes over the whole... uh, forest. Including your kingdom. If you don't defeat him soon, your kingdom may be in ruins.

Alyas: What do you think Kythaela?

Kythaela: I think we should finally get up and defeat him.

Alyas: What!?

Kythaela: We won't have to live in fear of him coming here, the war will be over and Elphiendia can sleep soundly again. But most importantly, we can finally rule together.

Alyas: I'll go, but you must stay.

Kythaela: The prophecy says we must do it together. I'm not a child!

Alyas: Let's get this over with. Then you'll be back behind safe castle walls right after.

Kythaela: No.

Alyas: We'll discuss this later. Now, when do we head out?

Serena: Evelyn, do you think our army is complete?

Evelyn: I don't know. Maybe we can use some of your guards? And maybe some mermaids for their magic? Then I think we'll be ready.

Alyas: You think? I'm not sending my guards with a leader who doesn't know what she's doing!

Evelyn: I didn't know I was the leader.

Alyas: (to Kythaela) You expect us to go fight with such unprepared and unorganized children?

Kythaela: Well you're sure acting like one, Alyas. And at least they believe in a cause we are supposed to enforce. I'm going whether you like it or not. You need to step it up because for a prince, you're pretty pathetic. And Elphiendia won't be going anywhere with you as their king.

Alyas: (to Evelyn) Don't you see what you're doing? You're ripping people apart. I'm surprised you even got this many people on your side because with you as a leader, there's no way we'll win.

(Evelyn runs off the stage crying)

Dean & Redmond: Evelyn! (gives each other a look and follow her offstage)

Kythaela: What is wrong with you? This is not the prince I know or the elf I love.
