Evelyn: (crying) I didn't know that I was supposed to lead them. I thought we were going to defeat Bestanden and then Directer to save Valliea. But maybe Alyas is right, we're not going anywhere at this rate.

Evelyn: (slowly, then picking up)
Did I really think that this would go perfectly? Did I really think that I was worthy? Directer thinks we're all his toys, but keep your eyes wide____ Remember my two best friends, maybe my lovers... Then join in the fight____ I'm Ready! I've grown! I know just what to do! I'm Ready! I've grown! For what do I have to lose? (Music, then uplifting)

(Slowly): (picking up)

Dean: (entering) Evelyn? Evelyn!

Evelyn: Dean!

Dean: Evelyn, I just lost you I can't lose you again. (hugs her)

Redmond: (coughs, causing them to stop) Don't listen to anything Alyas says. (puts his hand on her waist) I believe in you.

Evelyn: (hugs Redmond) Redmond... I think.... I think I'm in love with you.

(Redmond hesitates, but then kisses her. Soon after, magic surrounds Evelyn and her pendant and she becomes an magical being as everything transforms and there's a memory)

Young Evelyn: Quinten, there you are!

Quinten: Evelyn, there's something I need to tell you.

Young Evelyn: You can tell me anything. What is it?

Quinten: One day, very soon, you're going to forget all about me.

Young Evelyn: I could never forget you, Quinten.

Quinten: Unfortunately, you will. But maybe one day, in the distant future, we'll find each other.

Young Evelyn: I don't understand.

Quinten: It'll all make sense someday. Let's just enjoy each other while we can.

(the memory ends and the new Evelyn is revealed)

Evelyn: Quinten? Is that you?

Redmond: You remember.

Evelyn: I knew I felt something between us, I just didn't know what.

Dean: I'm happy for you. (looks at audience and breaths heavily)

Evelyn: What's happened to me?

Redmond: This is the real you. Before Directer wiped your memory and magic and put it in this pendant and locked it away.

Dean: That's why I got it for you.

Evelyn: Wait. So everyone knew?

Redmond: Yeah.

Evelyn: Even my parents?

Dean: They're not your real parents.

Evelyn: What? Then who is?

Kythaela & Alyas: (entering) We are.
