"Oh my gosh, Jennifer! You know, isn't that pretty girl in the idol group look just like me? I mean, come on!"
Jennifer nodded enthusiastically as Emma continued on babbling about the new idol group members or something. As if Jennifer noticed my glare stabbing onto her, she uncomfortably glanced at me. Then she glanced back at Emma. Jennifer made a sad smile, and mouthed "Let's talk this out later, okay?" I nodded briefly before turning back to my computer screen.
I always thought a possibility to end this argument that was sparking between Emma and me. Going to the counceler, maybe talking it out, or apologize, but those were all out because going to the counceler fixed nothing, and it would deepen the argument, and Emma would never listen to me. Apologizing to her? I didn't do anything!
~ Time skip to Korean Class ~
After I put my bag down next to Jenny, there was an awkward silence before Jennifer started, "I don't really like Emma, you know."
I looked at her. If she didn't like her, why would she even be with Emma?
"My mom is friends with Emma's mom, so I can't really "unfriend" her... maybe sometime later I might be able to "unfriend" her, and then I might be able to unfriend her," Jennifer babbled nonsense on and on.
I urged myself not to roll my eyes.
I gave up trying to convince her and opened up my textbook while Jennifer opened her MacBook and started to shop clothes. Ugh. Just then, the Korean teacher came in, and everybody except some students including me and Bella hurried to close their MacBooks.
Ms.Kang, the Korean teacher smirked at the sight of boys sleeping while she was teaching. She called onto each of the boys, and asked the easiest questions we just covered. But of course the boys didn't understand a thing.
-----time skip to the end of the class brought to you by a frying pan------
'Ding dong~' the bell rang, and we all rushed to get out of this boring Korean class. Since Emma had the Korean class right after us, Jennifer and I met Emma face to - face in front of the stairs. Emma didn't budge in front of me, as she expected me to make way for her. Her gaze bored down at me. She said,
"Get out of my face, Kelly."
I almost cried, and I couldn't remember the words Julie taught me. So instead I said,
"Okay."
Emma smirked at her victory and smiled and Jennifer. Jennifer beamed back. Just then, I was so angry at Jennifer I quietly left her while she was still beaming at that bully. I felt sick. Partly because Emma was acting like a literal fox, partly because of the shame that I couldn't say anything to her.
