Taylor pov:
After I finished the call with CPS, Joe and I decided to watch a movie on the couch. I scrolled through Netflix
"Oh my god, we can watch Journey To Fearless!" Joe said laughing ripping the remote from my hands
"No!!" I said trying to get the remote,
"That's my name they're sayin'! That's my name they're sayin'!" A little southern girl voice said causing Joe to laugh
"Stoppp" I said as he started laughing
"Fine, fine" Joe said sounding mad
We finally picked something we'd both like, American Horror Story
*I just started watching AHS and might I say it's amazing*
I must've fallen asleep during one of the episodes, I woke up to Joe whispering
"Taylor," He said as I opened my eyes "let's go to bed"
A wiped the sleep out of my eye and got up off the couch and went up the stairs. Addison was still sleeping peacefully in our bed. I laid down next to her and closed my eyes, soon after I felt the bed shift and someone lay down
"Night, sweetheart" Joe said
Addison pov:
I woke up to Taylor on one side of me and Joe on the other. I slid out from the covers, I saw that the clock said 8:30 am. I got out of bed and went downstairs to explore, I couldn't believe that such a big apartment exists in New York City. I went to find Olivia and Meredith, Olivia was sitting on the stairs while Meredith was sleeping on a window ledge.
"Meow!" Olivia followed me into the kitchen
Taylor said she'd never hurt me so I felt safe getting a snack. I opened the pantry and found some fruit snacks, as I was about to grab something to drink someone came downstairs
"Addison?" Joe asked
I got a bit scared cause I don't really know him that well.
"Do you want to make an actual breakfast with me?" Joe asked and I happily nodded
Joe had the same accent that Mr. Benny does when he talks. Joe got out a bowl for a mixer and started pouring things into it
"Do you know how to crack an egg?" He asked
"No"
"Well come over here and I'll teach you!" Joe said
I stood sat on a barstool in front of him
"Ok, use both your hands and hit the centre of the egg with the side of the bowl" Joe said "Look I'll show you"
He cracked an egg perfectly
"Ok your turn" He said, he put his hands over mine and helped me
"You did it Addison!" Joe said
"Yay! I did it!!" I cheered
Taylor pov:
I woke up to Addison and Joe gone from the bed, downstairs I could hear them. I walked down the stairs and could hear Addison and Joe cooking
"Yay! I did it!!" Addison cheered
I stood at the bottom of the stairs and listened to them.
"Want to try one on your own?" Joe asked and Addison must have nodded her head yes
"Ok, remember what I taught you" Joe said
"3,2,1!" Addison said "I did it!" She yelled
I walked into the kitchen and saw Addison sitting on a barstool in front of Joe. I couldn't help but smile.
"Morning sweetheart" Joe said
"Morning" I smiled
"What are you guys making?" I asked
"Pancakes!" Addison said happily
"Yummy!" I said
After Addison and Joe finished making breakfast, we sat down and the counter and ate. I really hope that today goes well with CPS. After we all finished eating I went upstairs and got ready, I wore some jeans and a sweatshirt. I thought it would be best if Joe didn't go out with us, I don't want the media assuming things about Joe and I. I know that they're going to assume something about Addison,
"Are you ready to go Miss Addison?" I asked her and she nodded
I wrapped her in a blanket seeing as it's 25 degrees out.
"You got everything you need?" Joe asked
"Yep"
"Alright, be safe love you" Joe said giving me a kiss
"Bye, love you" I said then opening the apartment door and going down the stairs
One of my guards was waiting downstairs, I covered up Addison's face cause I didn't want the paparazzi taking pictures of her.
"Are you ready Ms. Swift?" The guard asked and I nodded my head yes
Right when he opened the door I was blinded by flashed and bombarded by questions
"Taylor is that your kid?"
"Did you adopt a kid?"
"Taylor could you answer my question"
As usual I kept my mouth shut and went straight to the car. If it's not paparazzi I will usually stop and take pictures with fans but sometimes the paparazzi is rude and all they want is a picture or two to sell. I sat in the backseat with Addison, I buckled her in and we went on our way to the NYPD tower.
When we got there I unbuckled Addison and one of my guards opened the car door for me,
"Thank you" I smiled
When I got into the building I went straight for the receptionist
"Hi, last night I called about finding a little girl. My name is Tay-" I said but was interrupted
"Taylor Swift? I thought that was just a prank call" The lady said
"Floor 27, ask for Officer Jackson Jones. Tell him Alison sent you" She said
"Thank you so much Alison!" I said smiling
I walked over to the elevator and pressed the button to go up.
"Can I push the button?" Addison asked
"Sure" I said and let her push the button
The elevator doors opened and we got in, Addison was still on my hip. I pushed the 27 button and it took a bit to get there, the doors opened and once again I went straight for the receptionist
"Hello, Alison sent me to see Officer Jones. I'm Taylor Swift"
"Alright, go right along. I let him know you're coming in."
