A/n: In honour of Last Kiss day I am updating! Also I listened to Last Kiss at 1:58 am, did you?
Taylor pov:
Addison's dad was going back overseas tonight, I was hoping and praying that with some Grace of God that I could take Addie home. We were on a small break so I called my mum
"Hey mum" I said
"Hi Taylor, how's it going?" She asked
"We're on a little break right now. I think it's going pretty well," I said smiling "I'm nervous as hell though." I said
"Being nervous is good Taylor. It shows that you're passionate and that you care." My mum said making me smile
"Thank you mama" I told her "I am going to call Joe right now but I love you!" I told her
"Yes, good luck Taylor dad and I love you!" Mum said hanging up the phone
I dialed Joes number and after a few tones it rang
"Hi baby" Joe said I could hear him driving or something
"Hi" I said smiling even though he couldn't see me
"What's up?" He asked
"Oh nothing really, it's just hard to not burst into tears." I told him already tearing up
"It will all turn out well baby don't you worry" He said
"I know it's just hard. But I gotta go" I said with tears now rolling down my cheeks
"Taylor," He said and I hummed "I love you," He said causing me to smile
"I love you more" I said with a huge grin on my face
We said our goodbyes and I went to the washroom, I looked at my slightly red and puffy face. I splashed some water on my face and went to sit back down for the remaining 15 minuets. I felt my phone buzz
Joe: What floor are you on?
I smiled and texted him the details, I waited by the elevators and the doors opened revealing Joe, looking handsome as always wearing black pants and a white button up shirt
"Hi baby" I said hugging him, I put my head into his neck and he kissed my forehead
"I thought you could use some company" Joe said
We went and sat down, I introduced Joe to my attorney and to Addison's dad. The judge came back in and Addison sat next to her dad.
"Welcome back" The judge said "Our decision today sadly has to be rushed seeing as Mr. Porter is needed overseas again."
"Taylor Swift, please come to the stand." An attorney said
I went up and sat at the stand and adjusted the microphone. They asked me a few basic questions like how I will/can care for Addison. They asked a few more questions then let us out. We're coming back for another hearing in a few days. As we were getting up a young lady came up to us
"I know this is rushed and I do apologize, look through this packet there are some things that you will need to sign about Addison and some more information. If you have any questions don't hesitate to call me at any time. I'm Karla Montgomery by the way." She said with a smile
"Thank you so much Karla" I said to her smiling
Joe and I walked out hand-in-hand and Addison was there
"Yay!!!" She yelled running to me, I gave her a hug and handed her off to Joe.
I walked over to Addison's dad, William
"I sadly have to go in about an hour or so. But please do keep me updated" He said smiling
"I will." I said
"Good luck. I really don't want Addie going with another random foster family. At least I kind of know you" He said with a laugh
"Thank you that means so much to me" I gave him a smile and a small hug
Addie pov:
I missed Taylor and Joe, I also missed Olivia and Meredith. Daddy and I were sitting in the lobby when they both walked out. Joe is really nice to me. After a few minuets daddy came over to me and gave me the biggest hug
"I love you ladybug, stay strong" He said giving me a kiss "One last kiss and a big hug and I have to leave" Daddy said
"I promise this will be the last goodbye," Daddy said kissing my forehead
I gave him the biggest hug I possibly could and gave him a kiss, he left and I could feel my eyes stinging and watering. He's my bestest friend ever, I watched him walk out the door. I don't know how to describe this but it felt like my heart wasn't even beating. I tried not to cry cause daddy told me to be strong, Taylor came over to me
"Are you ready to go?" She asked
It made me feel better knowing that I was going home with her, I nodded and Joe picked me up. Taylor held on to his hand, I like them both a lot. We got into the elevator and Joe let me click the button.
