I Hate You

Nikki POV:

I looked at Axel as his voice ran in my ears.

"Leave her Alone.-" I felt my ears flare as his warning rang over and over. I looked at him when I finally saw Alice behind him. Her tear was now on the edge of her eyes. 

'Slut.' I thought as I watched Axel turn towards Alice. I stared at his back as I saw it so broad. It was different. Different from the guys I had messed with earlier. His back. It was broad and clearly looked nice. His straight black hair ran near his collar as I saw the back of his neck. Red. 'Ugh. Its always Alice.' I thought.

I watched as Alice looked at Axel. I felt my heart throb. I knew that look. I  knew it. I always know what kind of look that was.

Alice's soft lips curled up into a smile as I saw her eyes. Her beautiful colorful eyes...

'No! No! Stop! Alice! You better not-' I then saw Axel's face. It looked surprise. I felt my heart throb. My fists clenched as I turned. I stomped away, face crinkling. At this moment... I didn't care anymore. 

I ran out the hall and into the garden. I stomped around as I stepped on the grass. I stomped on it, grass flattening. I screamed out as my lungs hurt, voice aching. I looked at the ground, body panting as I felt tears rushing to my eyes quickly. Tears held onto my eyelashes as it was resisting to fall. As one tear fell, I suddenly heard a voice.

"Nikki?" 

I turned as my eyes met hers. Alice. I wiped my eyes as my voice exhaled, air piercing my throat painfully.

"What do you want?" I asked, voice shaking a bit. She said nothing. "What do you want from me now?" I asked, voice screaming now. "What do you want?! You've taken enough from me haven't you?!" Alice looked hurt.

"W-What are you talking about-"

"I HATE YOU-" My voice silenced as I saw her face crumble. Her eyebrows creased at me as I watched her lips pucker together, pain appearing.

"You.. Hate me..?"  My eyes landed on Axel's jacket.

"Yeah!" I screamed. "I hate you! I've always hated you." I yelled out. I could no longer hold what I've always felt. "The way you act! You're so nice! You listen! You say you hate this. That. You're actually perfect-"

"PERFECT?! At what!?" She cried, face hurting more.

"Your looks! Your personality! I hate it!" I yelled. "You took my love. You took my dad's admiration. You don't even have a dad! He died! He's never coming back home. Your mom's already dying!" I screamed, tears coming to my eyes even more as it began to drop. "I hate you. Just leave.. Just leave this school already.. I can't stand-" My voice disappeared as I met eyes with her. Her beautiful eyes were clouding. Her nice white skin was paling as her cheeks turned pink. I waited for her to talk. "Talk!" I cried at her, tears falling more. "Hate me! Yell at me!" She said nothing as tears fell.

I laughed at her.

"You're just like how you were as always. Just like when we were little." I laughed,  laugh turning into a cackle. "You're weak-" I watched her look at me with desperate eyes. "You've always been weak." I cracked at her as she looked down.

"And I thought we could be friends once more.." She turned and ran.

'Friends.. huh...' I thought as I remembered how we were.

[Flashback]

"Alice! Alice!" I cried as I grabbed her hand. She looked at me, smiling. 

"Yeah!" She said, eyes matching mines. They were beautiful.

"I like him!" I said, pointing at a redhead. It was Peter. He was the grade's handsome guy in the whole grade! I watched Alice's head cock.

"Mmmhhh..." she said deciding. "Then I like his brother." She said, smiling. "Then we could be related and always be together." My eyes sparkled as I smiled. 

"Then let's promise. We will never like the other guy that we like." I said, pinkie out. She took it.

"Promise!"

2 years later...

Progress with both guys had happened and I had been close to Peter until...

I smiled as I turned the corner. I froze as my eyes landed on Peter and one other person... Alice. I saw them both hold hands as smiled at her. She smiled back.

'What are they doing..?" I thought, hands curling as I listened in softly.

"Alice.." He said. "I've always known you since we were small." Alice nodded.

"Yeah. I know." She said, smile disappearing. "So.. What is it you needed to tell me?" She asked. I felt my heart close.

'No... This can't be happen-'

"I like you Alice." He said. My heart dropped to my stomach as I felt tears rush to my eyes.

"Thanks.. But-" 

"I love you Alice. I want to go out with you to the extent of marriage-"

"Like I said.. Thanks... But we're only 12..."

"I know. But still. Please. Go out with me-"

"No." Alice said. My heart felt like dropping as I heard what Peter was saying to her. He did not like her. He LOVED her. My eyes rushed with tears as it dropped, one by one. My eyes then widened as I saw Peter pull in Alice. Alice's hair flew back as her arm was pulled by Peter. Peter's face was red. HE was in love. I watched Alice's eyes widen as her small body frame was held, her arms nearly wrapped around his waist. 

I then felt more betrayed as Peter grabbed Alice's arms and wrapped them around his waist.

"Please.." He begged. "Go out with me?" I watched, hoping that Alice would pull away. I saw her hands loosen when she went up to his ear and whisper something. "Why?" He asked as he pulled away. "If I do.. Please do me one thing at least.." He said. I watched Alice nodded as he sighed.

"Just.. Please do that for me-"I watched as Peter grabbed Alice's arm and pulled her in once more. I watched as my breath disappeared, heart tearing into pieces. Alice's eyes closed as her eyebrows creased. I watched as their lips connected together as he pulled away, lips connecting over and over again like a knife stabbing in and out over and over. Tears dropped as I ran, heart in pain.

[Flashback end]

I stared at her running away. "That's right... I'll always hate you, you lying slut." I growled as I turned my back on her.
