Alice POV:
I walked down the garden to find Axel sitting with his best mate. I touched his shoulder.
"Here.." I said, not looking at him. He turned around with a smile as it slowly disappeared upon seeing my face. I tossed him his jacket as I turned. I was pulled back as I turned, avoiding his eyes still.
"Why're you ignoring me?" He asked, voice sounding irritating.
"I don't know. You tell me." I said as I threw his arm off of me. I turned when I heard him scowl to his friend as his friend Eric laughed.
I trudged into the hallways to find Nikki surrounded by guys again. I turned, eyes glued to the floor.
"Slut..." I thought as I felt a pang hit my chest. I knew shouldn't even be saying these things. Feeling irritated throughout the whole day, I decided to quit the rest of the day and head to my room.
Collapsing on the bed, I felt my face take in the cool feeling from the bed as warmth began to form. I sighed out loud. I could feel my eyes throb in pain as my vision began to blur. My cheeks felt flushed pink as I wanted it to end.
"I want it to end.." I cried aloud, tears falling down the side of my face. I turned onto my back. My arms rose to my eyes as tears fell even more. "I can't stand it.. I want to go home.." I said. IT had only been the first day and I had had enough.
The next day, I awoke to see girls glaring at me.
"Still angry that Axis helped me..." I thought as I saw Axel wave at me. My eyes flew to the ground as I turned the corner, pretending I hadn't seen him. I felt my throat clog up as I wanted to go back to my room but I couldn't.. The teachers were cleaning our dorms already and I didn't understand why. It was only the second day.
Throughout the whole day, I had ignored Axel and found it hard to approach Nikki, avoiding her spots and taking the long ways to class or leaving the room the moment she came in.
Finally, when the school day was going to end, it was 3 in the afternoon. I doodled on my paper when a small paper ball was thrown at me. I looked to my side and saw that it came from Axel.
"Open it." He mouthed. I frowned as I grabbed it and threw it back at him. I turned back to my paper when he threw it back at me once more. Irritated, I threw it back at him, paper crushed to a pulp in my hand. I glowered at him. "Open it!" He mouthed, trying to seem like he was screaming at me. I scowled as I opened it. Without looking at the words, I passed it down to the girl next to me. She looked at me as I pointed to Axel.
"Came from him." I whispered as I went back to my paper. I could see from the corner of my eye, she was pleased since she smiled at him. I snorted silently as I suddenly had a tap on my arm. My teeth gritted as I knew it was Axel once more. I growled as I knew my patience was being tested with. I whipped to him as I glared at him. He looked startled. "What! Do! You! Want!" I spat, voice booming throughout the whole room. The room got silent as the teacher, Ransi, looked at me.
"Alice. Wait after class with me." Ransi said as his back turned to me. I glowered at Axel.
"What do you want Axis!" I seethed, quiet now.
"Talk to me."
"What?"
"I said talk to me." He said, voice soft. I looked at him.
"I don't want to." I muttered, turning away, eyes glued back to my paper that was filled with all my doodles.
"Why's that-"
"Just shut up already." I groaned. My arm was held as I looked at him.
"Please." B-THUMP! B-THUMP! I looked at him as I swallowed hard.
"I don't know. Now leave me alone." I turned away as the bell rang.
After the talk with Ransi, I walked out the class to bump with Axel.
"Care to tell me why you ignored me for 2 days?" He asked.
"No. And I never plan to tell you ever." I spat at him. He laughed as he grabbed my arm.
"Why're you so mad at?" He laughed. "Did I do something wrong?" I stopped as I pulled my arm off him.
"Just leave me alone Axel."
"Why're so mad?!" He teased as his held my arm tightly.
"Just leave me-"
"Come on! Tell me-"
"I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE AXEL!" I screamed as he stopped teasing, his grip loosening a bit. "You want to know! Fine! I want to go home Axel. I don't want to be here anymore. I was dragged here from my family, my home just yesterday Axel. I was center of attention. I met you. I then began to have trouble. Nikki is less of a friend than what I had before. I'm alone. I miss my siblings. I miss my mom. My dad. Do you know what that is Axel?" I cried, tears sprouting out. He stared at me, face pale. "It's called a home. And that place... I want to go home."
