New Start, New Life

(Rozella's POV)

Would you believe that I'm nervous? Ha... I might be a vampire, an old one at that. But as I sit in my mansion, staring out the window, letting the summer breeze blow in. I have all these boxes around me, I'm nervous.

I know the move will be good for me. But I can't help feeling something is going to happen..... I always follow my gut but this time my slow heart won over.
Raising my glass to the moon I toasted to a new move and hoped I wasn't making a mistake.

Helping the movers finish loading the last of the stuff, I looked at the mansion and said to Jeffrey, "I'm going to miss this place."
Jeffrey looked at me with a sad smile. "Madame, I know you will as you always do. But you can always visit it. This is one of the many you have. Now if you don't hurry we are going to miss our flight." He laughed and gestured to the open door he was holding for me.
"All right, Jeffy let's get going." I laughed. "I bet you just want to hurry so you can try new girls."
"WHAT?!" He gasped, acting offended. "I would never do such a thing."
"Uh huh.... yeah,sure keep telling yourself that." I got in the vehicle while closing the door and sticking my tongue out at him.
Shaking his head he got in and off we went.

"We finally made it! Yes!" Jeffrey yelled getting off the plane and basically kissing the ground. He honestly doesn't like flying. Something about you could possibly crash and any moment type of thing.
Shaking my head and laughing at him I got off the plane myself and left him on the ground. He caught up to me in flash.
"So who is picking us up?" Looking around for our luggage.
Picking up both of our bags Jeff said, "No one. I had our cars shipped to the mansion and one of them should be here." He smiled. "I figured you'd like to enjoy the scenery slowly before we got to the mansion."
I hugged him and giggled, jumping with glee I all but ran to the parking garage. Down there was Jeff's mustang from back home.
"I call driving!!!" I yelled out to him, going to the drivers side.

(Jeffrey's POV)

"Come on live a little!!! Hahahah!!!" I laughed taking goofy pictures of us, while she was driving. The whole thing with vampires not showing up in pictures is a total myth.
She looked at me with an annoyed face but you could see she was trying not to smile. " I'm driving...you dingledork.."
"So you already know where you are going. It's not like you need to pay that much attention to the road" Laughing at her I took another picture.
"True...true...but ..oh what the hectorfish....lets have some fun." She gunned it. Laughing with her as she swerved around corners. Looking at her now she was down right beautiful. With her long brunette hair her beautiful sapphire eyes, and a smile that lights up her face showing her fangs poking out.
I guess you could say that I'm in love with her but it's not a secret she knows. She just doesn't see me that way or anyone for that matter. She's older beyond belief but she doesn't look a day over 18.
Would you shut up already.... I'm tired of listening to that...you have a mate out there she's closer than you think.. Liam my wolf said.
What do you mean?? Liam? Liam what do you mean you fuzzy furball?!? I yelled at him. But he didn't answer all I could hear was him chuckling. While I was zoned out talking to him we made it to the mansion. You are probably thinking why aren't you amazed with the beauty of it. Well you see ever since I've been living with Roza , that's all we lived in was mansions. Once you seen one before you've seen them all...that and Roza likes to keep the layout pretty much the same.
"Get your ass out here and help would you?" I heard from around back by the trunk.
"Oh sorry Rose I dazed again" I smiled shyly rubbing the back of my neck, and getting out to go help her.
Do you feel that Jeff? Liam asked, growling at the back of my mind.
Yeah I do... I bet Roza feels it too. We aren't alone here anymore. I looked at her, she had a smile on her face but you could tell she was listening. "Let's go inside Madame and get settled. Then I'll go grocery shopping to make you favorite chicken Alfredo."
"Yay!!!!!" She jumped for joy clapping her hands. "I'll race you inside!!" Off she went with me chasing her laughing.

A little while later...at the store..

Humming to myself I got what I needed...I was getting noodles . When all of a sudden I smelt this amazing scent. It smelled like a fresh baked apple pie with a hint of vanilla. Follow the scent.... mate... mate... Liam exclaimed. I followed it through the whole store and it was no where to be found. I paid for my stuff and walked outside hoping I could catch whoever it was before they left. But when I got out it was pouring rain. Disappointed I left .
