A Familiar Stranger [Kung Fu Panda]

Relunctant Masters

"First we need help ourselves..." Shifu led Tora through various alley ways in the city, avoiding everyone in order to not draw attention to themselves.

"From who?" Tora asked.

"Masters Croc and Ox... If Po and the five have not already freed them then I believe them to be in Gongmen jail."

They walked another 5 alley ways until they came upon the entrance which surprisingly was unguarded. They entered to find it only partially full with only the first floor holding prisoners, including Masters Croc and Ox.

"Shifu!" Master Ox was angry. "What have you sent your students to do! All it has led to is absolute chaos!"

"They are here to reclaim Gongmen city!" Shifu called back.

"All that has happened since they arrived is Shen moving forward his plans to take over China!" Master Croc jumped in. "This minute he is making his way with boats and his weapons towards the harbour!"

"Then why are you sat here when there are no guards around and they are In need of help?!" Tora exclaimed.

"The weapon will immediately stop everybody in Shen's way!" Croc fired back.

"HOW ARE YOU PREPARED TO SIT BACK AND ALLOW CHINA TO BE TAKEN OVER AND LET KUNG FU MEET ITS DEMISE!" Shifu roared. "DID YOUR TIME WITH MASTER OOGWAY AMOUNT TO NOTHING?"

With this Ox and Croc grew quiet. Ox made his way to the door, kicked it down and they both walked over to Shifu.

Sighing in defeat, Master Ox said "What's the plan..."

Shifu's face remained determined. "You both make you way as fast as possible to Shen's boat, if the five are there, aid them in whatever their plans are, if not you are to use anything in the area to stop their boats from entering the harbour..." they both nodded taking the red pandas orders. "Go!"

Once they left Shifu stopped Tora from leaving.

"Tora, as I'm sure you know, your help has been much appreciated and useful. But you must understand the five, Po, me and Masters Ox and Croc have been trained for this exact event." Shifus eyes were hard, he meant everything he was saying. "You are not to come into this fight unless absolutely necessary, you are the family Tigress always secretly longed for and I know your loss would be the biggest loss for her." Tora only nodded slightly in response. "You are to obey this order, am I clear?"

"Ye..." Tora stammered for a moment, wondering if she would be able to let her friends and sister do this without her helping at all. Coming to the conclusion that Shifu knew what he was saying, they were all professional kung fu Masters she finally answered. "...yes."
