Tora ran through the crowds of villagers who had assembled by the harbour, watching as the dragon warrior swam towards a small island directly opposite Shen's boat.
Without thinking about anything else she dived into the water, the splash masked by the sound of the weapon. Tora didn't think twice about it, solely focussed on reaching her sister who clutched to the floating wood.
As she resurfaced a streak of red and gold light flew across her eyeline, it disappeared into the water only meters away from where Tigress was floating. Tora began to swim, faster than she'd ever before she thought, though her stress was enabling her full strength as she shivered with nerves.
By the time she reached Tigress she had let tears fall, though Tigress was in better condition she had thought.
"Tigress! Are you ok?"
"What?" She suddenly snapped her face towards her sister, looking all over her worried face. She had been staring towards Po almost in a trance. "Y...yeah!"
There exchange was interrupted by a loud crack as they both turned to watch Po fling one of the firey balls back towards one of the boats, destroying it in the process. Wolves jumped off, into the water, onto the dock if they were close enough.
"Let's get out of here before Po aims bad." Tora grabbed the plank of wood Tigress held to with one paw and began to swim towards the closest set of steps out.
Finally they reached the steps, Tigress climbed out first and helped her sister, before she could stand up properly she was engulfed with a back braking hug from the girl, shocked she stood there for a moment but finally embraced her sister back.
"I... I thought I'd lost you..." Tigress felt tears fall on her back even though she was soaking for the fact they were hot, filled with emotion. "I don't know what I would do if I lost you! I love you!"
Tigress stayed silent, still in the embrace. Although she was glad to have found a family she didn't know how to react to this. She had never faced this behaviour before, the only family she had ever known was Shifu and he wasn't one for expressing his feelings, neither was she.
The only response Tora received was a squeeze which lead to the end of their exchange. As they pulled away from each other their attention was again brought to a loud crack. Po had finally hit Shen's boat, the dust settled and everything was quiet, the two tigers started off at a run to make sure everybody was ok.
By the time they had made their way through the crowds they were just in time to witness the busted weapon fall in a poetic silence, burying a defeated Shen in the rubble. Po was thrown into the water by the force and before Tora realised, Tigress was gone.
Po emerged from the water, and was faced with tigress' outstretched paw, if it wasn't for the distinction in the different colours of her and Tora's clothing he would've thought it was Tora.
Realising it was Tigress and she was ok, he threw a hug onto her, her reaction similar to Tora's hug. All the masters jaws dropped and they ran to embrace Po once he'd let Tigress go. Shifu who congratulated Po on his discovery of his own inner peace then dodged Po's attempt at embrace, standing on one of the wooden pillars just standing out of the water.
He chuckled and Po smiled as the destroyed and now sinking weapon set off fireworks which displayed above the island Po had stood upon. Tora joined the group and took Tigress' paw in hers as they watched the fireworks, the villagers cheered behind them as the fireworks symbolised the end of Shen's reign of terror and force in the city.
