~Hey it's Kat here back with another short chapter. I'm sorry it's taken so long, I've just had no time and motivation to write. I promise I'll try to get back on track but I can't guarantee I will be able to. This whole chapter will also be written in the Narrators POV. Sorry again and I hope you enjoy~
-----------------------------------------------------
Narrator: _______ got into the room to be greeted by a depressed looking Viktor. Looking at him now she could see all the sadness and pain that she had caused in his eyes. Viktor looked up to meet her gaze and tried to force a smile. ______ and Viktor just wanted to be close again, wanted to mean what they used to mean to each other, but would ______ ever express those feelings? Probably not. So that is why Viktor asked for her. He asked for her so they could talk.
It started with a sad and drawn out hello. Neither of them could handle what was going on. The tears started flowing on ______'s side first, then Viktor looked down and another fountain of tears started on his end. ______ walked over to him and sat on a chair near the end of the hostpital bed before she lost it. She put her head on the bed her arms laying around her head. She sobbed and sobbed letting out words that were so mumbled no one could understand.
"_____?" Viktor asked, softly.
She looked up, wipping her red and puffy eyes. Little did she know her and Viktor both felt guilty.
"Y-yes?" She responded still not having recovered from before and now.
"I'm sorry," He said softly, the fact that he was crying finally showing through his speaking.
"I don't understand," ______ said the confusion clear on her tear stained face.
"Well your whole life you've been in pain, you've had all these things happen to you and I haven't been able to help no matter how much I tried. All I've wanted was for you to be happy and safe but I'm not capable of doing that for you and I think Yurio is actually more capable. I'm sorry I left you alone without letting you know. It was selfish of me and I-" Viktor said inbetween gasps before he was finally cut off.
"No no. You've been there for me, you've made an attempt to help me and all I've ever done was push you away. Yes, I've had these things happen but that really is no excuse. I love you okay. I love you more than I ever loved my real father. You know what. Scratch that. You are my real father to me and I need you to know that I'm sorry for how I've made you feel. I'm sorry for being the cause of this. I'm sorry for hurting you. I'm sorry."
By this point they were both a mess. They both took a deep breath and at the same time said. "It's alright."
They smiled at each other. Everything that was ever wrong seemed to disappear at that very moment. They broke down again, this time with tears of joy. They hugged for the first time in what felt like forever. This was true happiness to them but who knows how long that would last...for no one told her what was truly wrong with Viktor.
