It has been the seventh day of the investigation and until now they don't have any single lead. These missing cases is somehow annoying her. Everything seems so difficult to understand and to think of ways on how to close and solve them.
Christina glanced at the paper placed on her mini desk. It's the profile of the ninth victim.
Iniisip niya kung bakit nawawala ang mga estudyanteng ito at nasaan sila. She sighed and lazily grabbed the folder and started reviewing it.
She immediately closed the folder and composed herself when her colleague came in. Nag-alaala siya na baka may bakas pa ng pag-iyak ang kanyang mukha. May problema na nga siya dinagdagan niya pa kanina ng kausapin niya si James.
Andrew with an exhausted and hopeless look took a seat. Ang bigat ng kanyang paghinga at bakas sa kanyang mukha ang pagod. Kagagaling niya lang sa pag-iimbistiga para sa missing cases na kinakaharap nila.
Andrew shook his head and started his juice report. "Kagaya ng iniisip natin bago nawala ang biktima huli siyang nakitang pumasok sa kanyang kwarto at hindi na nakitang lumabas pa. Kagaya ng mga naunang biktima."
Christina placed her elbows on the plain desk and leaned her jaw on the back of her palm, reminiscing. "Nawala sila na parang bula. And we can't deduce where did they go." She jolted and fired a question. "Did you checked the CCTV footage on that building?"
"Yes we did and never saw a woman getting out of that door." Inis na pahayag ni Andrew. "Iniisip ko nga na baka nag teleport and isang iyon at nawala sa kung saan."
"We can't think of that possibility." There's no such thing.
"Then how can we explain their indoor disappearance? Tina we searched all around the campus to find these woman pero wala tayong alam kung nasaan ni anino nila." Andrew said.
"Hindi lahat." Pagtatama ni Christina. "We never search the mini forest or the south phase of college section. If we may search more of those places baka makita natin ang mga katawan nila dun."
"And now your thinking that these could be a murder. That would be a lot of problem than these." Nakasimangot na wika ni Andrew. "Nawawala nga lang nahihirapan na tayo paano pa kaya kung may killer pa tayong tinutugis."
This case is much easier kung hindi lang nawawala ang mga biktima pagkatapos pumasok sa mga kwarto nila, na isip niya.
There must be some trick here.
"No I'm not." They can't consider any of these as a murder since there's no other persona involve. It just those poor woman and their room. At wala rin silang nakitang bangkay ng mga biktima. Paano ba sila nawala sa mga sarili nilang kwarto? And how could this be possible?
"Maybe we just missed on something. Something that could get us out of this hopeless case."
"Bakit hindi nalang natin ibigay ang kasong ito sa paranormal club. Forte nila ang mga ganitong scenario. Nawawala nalang bigla sa loob ng kwarto? Maybe they could bring back those victims using their spiritual technique." Biro ni Andrew pero nabigo siya nang hindi manlang kumibo ang kanyang president.
