Lia's Search Failed

They made it to the Man-Eating Ruins without any trouble, luckily. But now the only trouble was that they had to go into the Ruins without any trouble...But that was unlikely. So without any more hesitation, they ventured inside, staying behind one another because they all, (Besides Walter) remembered the narrow path that first started out in the ruins. So when they passed that, they passed the circular room as well...Roxanne remembered the snake-lady....She shivered at the thought of her.

So then they were going up that same slope again, Lia leading the way this time. But at the top of that pathway, she suddenly stopped. "Guys! Don't move!"

"What is it?" Erik asked as he moved up a bit closer and stood on that red circular thing near Lia.

Lia stared at the wall ahead of her intensely. "It's a trap everyone! So stop what you are doing while I disarm it!" She began to examine the wall closely.

Roxanne leaned over to Walter and whispered in his ear, "Lia? Disarming traps?! We're all doomed..."

Walter snickered at her comment. They both turned back to Lia as she knocked on the wall. But then, all of the sudden she squealed with surprise. "Found it!" She tapped the wall with her finger.

"Wait? Found whaaaaaaaa!" Erik yelled as the red circular hole dropped from underneath him and he plunged down into the hole, but then the red circular thing closed up.

Lia turned around. She blinked. "Huh? Did we lose someone?"

Roxanne smiled. "Nope, we're all here. Everything's fine. Never been better actually..." She snickered as Walter covered his mouth to keep from laughing.

Arian snorted from laughter and had to turn around to keep Lia from seeing who was missing. "Maybe we should move on...?" Xaden suggested with a smirk.

Lia shook her head. "I need to disarm this trap first!" She exclaimed.

"Oh..." Roxanne said while placing her hand on her hip. "You really don't need to." Now that got Walter and Arian into a fit of laughter.

"Um...." Alex hummed to get Lia's attention. She turned toward him with a look of annoyance, but Alex just rolled his eyes at her. "Aren't we going to help Erik?"

"Huh?" Lia tilted her head to the side. "Did Drummer Boy run off somewhere?"

Roxanne shook her head, attempting to make the others laugh even more. "No of course not!" She said. "Erik has just decided to leave because he couldn't handle the dangers of this place! He was too scared so he ran off!" Arian and Walter fell on the floor laughing.

Lia sighed. "Wimp."

Now Alex and Xaden were finally laughing too, since Lia actually believed Roxanne. But Lia didn't seem to notice her sarcasm and then she began to disarm the trap again.

Erik flew out of a hole and landed right at the bottom of the slope. He groaned and scratched the back of his head while getting up. "Bubbles! You'll pay for this!" He stomped his foot with anger. "So you the rest of ya! Ya'll wait!" He began to run back up the slope and he managed to catch up with everyone...Who were still laughing.

Roxanne realized that he was still alive. She pouted. "Awww man! You came back!"

Erik glared. "Shut up Roxy!"

"What did you just say?!" Roxanne demanded. Erik gulped as Roxanne stormed over to Lia. She kicked the wall with all her might, which made the trap door open again. She then proceeded to grab Erik and throw him into the trap.
