Roxanne woke up to someone downstairs. They stomped inside and shook the whole house. Roxanne grumbled to herself and got out of the bed, realizing it was early in the morning. With her Ninja Star, Roxanne quietly left her room and descended from the stairs. As soon as she saw the figure, Roxanne threw the Star. The person screamed and ducked.
Roxanne ran down the steps to see who it was. She then huffed and slapped the intruder across their face. "You moron! Don't just come barging in here like that!"
Lia rubbed the side of her face. "I haven't seem you in like, forever! I just wanted to see how you were doing!"
Roxanne scoffed and rolled her eyes at her excuse. "You probably woke up the whole village! Couldn't it wait until morning?!"
Lia lifted an eyebrow at Roxanne. "Uh...It is morning..." She pointed out as she turned to look out the window.
Roxanne snorted. "Whatever. How about we just head to town for now okay? Fill the town with your wonderful appearance." She was being sarcastic, but Lia took it literally.
"Good idea!" She grabbed Roxanne's hand. "Come on! Let's go!" And she dragged Roxanne all the way to town.
When they had gotten to the entrance, Walters soldiers were already standing guard. Roxanne greeted them, and they saluted her as she walked in. But when Lia did, they didn't salute her. Lia huffed and stood in front of Roxanne. "What's their problem?! Why didn't they salute me too?!"
Roxanne laughed. "Because you're not their leader's girlfriend."
Lia placed her hands on her hips and stomped her foot with rage. "No fair no fair! Tell Walter I wanna be saluted too!"
"No."
"Why?!"
"Because he doesn't like you!"
"B-But you do...Don't you?!"
"Uh...No, not really."
"You meanie!"
"Yes, yes I am."
Lia stuck her tongue out at Roxanne. "Well, whatever. Let's just go find everyone else. We gotta party! We haven't been together in almost five months!"
Roxanne smiled. "Sure."
Lia suddenly gasped and took a step back away from her. "Wait...You actually want to?! Okay, who's about to kill you?! Why are you suddenly a but nicer?"
Roxanne shrugged and turned away. "I guess having friends for the very first time made me a bit nicer..."
Lia skipped over to Roxanne's side. "Well whatever. Let's just go get everyone so we can hang out today. I don't think anyone is busy, hm?"
"Okay fine. Whatever."
The two of them found Erik at his mansion, and they found Arian and Xaden at the Inn eating breakfast. As Xaden, Lia, and Erik went to get supplies, Roxanne and Arian had to find Walter and Alex. Once they had found Walter, they went to find Alex.
They walked to his house, but Roxanne stopped about thirty feet away from it. Watler and Arian were confused. "What's wrong?" They asked.
Roxanne sighed and pulled them away from Alex's house before showing them the scars he had given her. She explained what happened between him and that couple.
Arian and Walter exchanged confused glances. "I wonder what's up with him..." Arian said thoughtfully as she stared over at his house.
"Well whatever it is," Walter began. "If he doesn't want to tell us, he doesn't have to. But we should help him in any way that we can."
