Chapter 4

Recap:

I was about to move along when I heard someone shout my name.

"Alex!" I saw Nico and Grover running towards me.

'Grover runs funny!'

But that was it until I heard the agonizing scream of Ally Calahay.

Nico and Grover reached me in time to grab both my arms and making me run towards the pool area.

"What's going on?" I yelled at them.

Nico was about to answer when I saw it.

People running around like mad men and a large bull with a human head holding Ally in the air... what?

Chapter 4:

Alex's Point Of View:

"What in the world is that?!" I screamed at Nico.

"It's called a Minotaur and it's here for you," Grover says quickly.

I was shocked. Why would a bull be here for me?

"Alex, we need you to go home and ask your mom to pack your bags. Ask her about the Minotaur because right now Nico and I have to kill that thing and save Ally," Grover said and pushed me towards the door that led to the garden out in the front of the mansion.

Right now my mind is pretty jumbled so I did what he had said.

"Wait! Will I see you guys again?" I turn around.

Both of them nodded.

I turned and ran towards the gate taking one last glance back at my friends for a day.

Minotaurs, Nico and Grover, Ally and kill were the only things running through my mind as I swung the gate open and ran out to the street and towards my house.

Nico's Point Of View:

"Nico! Look out!" I heard Grover yell as I ran closer to the Minotaur.

The only thing I saw was the fist of the Minotaur coming towards me before I ducked out of the way.

The Minotaur had long dropped Ally to the ground which had caused her to scream and run away from the whole scene.

Grover took out his reed pipes and quickly played a little tune which caused grass and vines to grow from the ground. The vines wrapped around the bulls legs and pulled it down.

The Minotaur got up and tried to tug at his feet but they were planted. At least for awhile.

"Nico now would be a great time to call your skeleton buddies," Grover said before moving out of the of the Minotaur's almighty punch towards him.

Grover's Point Of View:

I watched as Nico closed his eyes and suddenly the ground around him spilt open and skeleton soldiers came out.

He fell to the ground and suddenly the Minotaur got himself free and looked directly towards Nico. But before it could attack, the skeletons launched themselves at the bull and jabbed their swords here and there.

While the Minotaur was distracted, I quickly ran to Nico's aid.

He looked very weak and I knew he was about to faint any minute.

"Nico, don't give up on me now!" I say to him smiling.

He nodded before making an attempt to get up and containing his balance.

I turned to see that the skeletons had by now defeated the bull and we're retreating to the ground.

We'd managed to get Alex out of here but the Minotaurs attack had proven that we needed to take her to Camp Half-Blood tomorrow. And fast.

Her scent was pretty strong and I think... I know this sounds ridiculous... but she may or may not be a daughter of the Big Three.
