Chapter 5 (Part 2):

Alex's Point Of View:

"Nico Di Angelo I am so not climbing that thing!" I shouted at the black headed boy who was trying to coax me into climbing that huge dog.

"Come on! Its perfectly alright! Mrs. O'Leary is safe and she won't hurt you! Unless, Percy says so!" Nico says watching me amusingly as I whimper when THAT DOG tried to lick me.

"No! I will not climb it! NEVER!" I said and folded my arms across my chest.

Grover came out with my bags and settled them on the dogs back.

"Nico, why don't you just shadow travel with her? If she doesn't want to go with Mrs. O'Leary, I'll take her and you take Alex," Grover finishes looking at the both of us.

"But..." Nico trails off.

Grover glares at him and Nico shuts up.

"Fine! Come on!" Nico says finally and grabs my hand while taking me to the yard.

He turns me around and suddenly I feel his arms wrap around my waist. I immediately start blushing while Grover winks at me.

I hear Nico say,"Hold tight!" before I feel my self being pulled as if my face were about to fall off. I hold Nico's arms tightly when I feel the rush stop. I had closed my eyes in the process and when I open them I see two boys, one or two years older than me standing in front of me.

One had jet black hair and ocean blue and green eyes. They were beautiful, the kind of eyes you could get lost in. And the other had curly, unruly hair and eyes that looked like they were up to mischief. He was smirking.

For a minute the boys were quiet when Curly whistled.

"Nico! Didn't know you had a girlfriend?" he said smiling. Green eyes looked amused.

I heated up at his words and then I realized that Nico was still holding me. I guess he realized too because he immediately let go.

"She's not my girlfriend Valdez," Nico said glaring at Curly.

"I have a first name di Angelo, it's Leo," Curly aka Leo said still smiling. "You should try calling me that instead of idiot, stupid-"

Nico was about to reply when suddenly THE DOG appeared and knocked Grover off of it. Blue eyes laughed and Leo shook his head grinning.

"Thanks Nico! For leaving without me!" Grover said brushing himself off.

Suddenly a girl about my age, ran up to us.

"Welcome to Camp Half-Blood! I bet these lunatics didn't tell you anything, but this is where you'll be living from now on. My name is Mya, Daughter of Apollo and Chiron sent me to check on you!" Mya finished.
