"Hey have you heard the rumours lately?"

"Yeah, I mean who hasn't at this point. What was he thinking, angering the leader of the Iron Dominion? You might as well kill yourself."

A third man overheard the conversation and made his way to the table where the two drunk patrons sat and drank their liquor.

The man pulled up a chair and took a seat, "I've heard he is crazy strong and plans to take over the Iron Dominion."

The other two men burst out laughing before calling for another round. The rumours began shortly after Newgate sent out his men to find out whatever they could about the man named Stain. The rumours spread like wildfire and became known all across Ejitope in a matter of vrots. That being said, it didn't take long for Stain to hear the rumours.

"Royland, do you know of an organization known as the Iron Dominion?"

"I have never heard of such an organization. Do they plan on interfering with our plans?"

"I doubt they even know I'm working with you, so they shouldn't even know about our plans."

"Then why would you bring up the matter if it doesn't affect our mission?"

"When I was travelling to find you I came across a group of bandits that were harassing a couple and trying to steal their cargo. I stepped in to help and one of the bandits said I was messing with the Iron Dominion. He said that their leader Newgate will crush me, and I'm sure you've heard the rumours going around."

"Indeed I have, if that is the case then I would hope you would swiftly deal with this Iron Dominion and their leader Newgate before the next phase in our plan."

"Then I leave at once, I need to get as much information on them as possible.", Stain said as he rose to his feet.

"Stain, be careful out there. The reason I was sent to eliminate mankind and the Gods didn't just do it from the heavens, is because of powerful individuals that can take on the Gods' power."

A smile formed on Stain's face as he donned his travellers cloak and left the castle.

A cloaked man with a wooden walking stick made his way up the mountain. It was evident from the way he swayed and leaned on the stick that he had be without food and water for vrots. Yet the man refused to give up as he made his way up the steep mountain pass. As the man approached the peak of the pass, he felt a slight prick on the sole of his foot. Wearily he supported himself on a tree as he inspected the bottom of his sandal, where he saw a thin needle protruding the bottom of the sandal. From the prick he felt in his foot, he knew the needle had gone straight through and into his foot. The man carefully extracted the needle, only to feel drowsy from doing so. Slowly sinking to his feet, through blurred vision he saw two figures approach him. The needle had without a doubt been laced with a fast acting poison.

"Need; water plea- ", was all the man managed to say before his eyes closed and he lost consciousness.

The man opened his eyes and waited for his vision to come back to him. Slowly his surrounding became clear and so did the two men that were seated on the floor in the tent. The man saw that he was laying in a bedroll and that his body was washed clean.

"Where am I?", the man asked as he slowly sat up.

The one man stood and left the tent the second he saw the man had regained consciousness. He returned shortly thereafter with an old man. The old man spoke in a strange language to the two men, who promptly left once the old man was done speaking.
